Prior to owning a Tesla I kept my vehicle’s key fob on a clip that I would fasten to a belt loop.When I was considering a Tesla one of the introductory videos was about the vehicle’s “keys”. The video showed a person unlocking the car with what appeared to be a credit card. I got this Tesla Key Holder thinking I would clip the Tesla key card to my belt loop like I was doing with the previous car.However, after getting a Tesla you learn the easiest and most convenient way to activate your car is by using the “phone key” method - linking your smart phone to the car. I keep one key card in my wallet just in case there is a problem with my phone.I use the key holder for the additional key card and keep this on my home key rack. This makes it easy to grab something out of or put something in the car instead of getting my phone. Basically, it a great backup option and I know where the key card is at all times!
