Worked fine for five months (~10,000 miles), then an internal press fit part came loose. There is a loose piece rattling around that is fixed in the old one that I still have, and a newly purchased one.

Replaced on my 03 honda civic ex 1.7L. Worked intermittently for months... Remove, clean, install. Runs fine for about two weeks then throws the code again. I've already done a complete engine breakdown and completely cleaned out the EGR passageway behind the engine/infront of the air intake, and the problem seems to be coming from the valve itself. Doesn't want to properly CLICK into my harness, and clogs within a few weeks requiring constant maintenance.

Exactly 50 days of receiving the part and installation the part failed and something came loose inside of the EGR. Go to the junk yard and spend your hard earned money you will get better results.

Do not buy this product. at all! it’s terrible installed it and is now causing spittting and sputtering at low rpm’s and throwing check engine light code for all cylinder mis fire.

I made the mistake of assuming all EGR valves work the same, and followed Youtube videos on how to clean them. It did not work, thankfully I was able to order this quick and cheap from Amazon. Autozone wanted to charge me +$100 for the part, no thanks.
