I think I got a bit too excited about this item and didn’t research thoroughly beforehand. I assumed it would easily attach to my bike, as neither the pictures nor the description mentioned compatibility being limited to certain bikes. Unfortunately, it only works with bikes that have a rear bike rack. While this was my oversight, it would have been much more helpful if the seller had included details in the description about this requirement.Additionally, the item I received didn’t match the one shown in the pictures, which was disappointing. It also arrived without any instructions, though I managed to figure out how to assemble it on my own. On a positive note, the kids' bike seat fits my 3-year-old perfectly, which I appreciated.

This HYYTEIBL Kids Bicycle Seat is a solid choice for a rear bike seat for children. I was happy to finally find a seat made for a rear frame that I can fit on the back of my recumbent bike. However, the poor quality-control from the brand truly downgraded my experience.There were NO INSTRUCTIONS included. I had read that some people received poor quality instructions but our package had none included whatsoever. That made installation a pain in the butt. Not only were there no instructions, but my husband also had to reinforce the seat with metal hose clamps beneath each leg attachment AND ties for the front of the frame. The seat was somewhat loosey-goosey without the extra reinforcements. Even worse there were NO HANDLEBARS included. It was only the seat with the front u-frame but no handles for a child to hold. Basically, part of the product was missing.I am so disappointed because this would have been a 5 out of 5, but no one checked to make sure everything was on point. When we opened the box all the parts were totally rogue just busting out to where we had to chase down screws that fell out. Nothing was contained properly.Does it fit my 3 and 5 year old, yes. Does it fit a back bike frame, yes. Is the quality there, no.3/5

Getting the opportunity to bring my young child along for bike rides is a real joy, and this rear frame child carrier has been a solid addition to our outdoor activities. The seat itself is sturdy, constructed from durable metal with a smooth, odorless black paint finish. It feels robust and reliable, which is essential when carrying precious cargo. The 40 kg load-bearing capacity and suitability for children aged 1 to 4 years make it versatile for a range of ages.The safety features are well thought out, with safety handles on both sides and a secure safety belt. The footrests are a nice touch, preventing any dangling legs from getting caught in the wheels. The thickened seat provides a comfortable ride, which is crucial for longer journeys. However, I did encounter a couple of issues during assembly. The instructions provided were quite poor, making the setup more challenging than it needed to be. Additionally, the nuts and bolts were scattered loosely inside the box, which was a bit of a hassle. Despite these minor setbacks, the seat performs admirably once assembled. For parents looking to share their love of cycling with their young children, this carrier is a dependable option, but be prepared for a bit of a puzzle during installation

Absolutely terrible. This item comes with no instructions, and seems very unsafe. The seat itself has wood and staples exposed. The strap, is not connected to the seat at all. None of the images of the item are the exact bike seat I was sent, I would take a picture but due to lack of instructions, I haven’t completed the build.

I was really excited to order this for my toddler for our bikes. I didn’t realize you need a rear rack for this. It does not connect to your bike on its own. Also, it came with nothing packaged or organized. Screws and bolts were just loose in the box. There were no directions! Super frustrating! The seat was also coming undone so we had to screw that back in. It was a pain in the butt to figure out how to mount it once we bought a rear rack.

I got this bike seat to transport my grand kids around on my electric bike. This seat creates a nice “cage’” around them while they’re riding. I like that the foot pegs include an integrated metal frame to keep a child’s legs away from the wheel and chain. The upper parts of the frame are wrapped with foam making them softer to hold on to. All in all it’s a decent design. The build quality is ok but not wonderful. It’s not like it will fall apart or anything but putting it together was a bit difficult because some of the pieces have to be bent a little to get them to fit. The seat upholstery work is a little borderline. Attached to my bike it feels solid. I wish they had a way of anchoring the seat belt to the frame. I may figure out something for that on my own.

Got this to allow for my daughter to go for bike rides with me now that the weather is warming up. Although I felt that I read through the product details carefully, I was not able to find definitively where it stated a rear bike rack was necessary (minus 1 star). Secondly, when the item arrived, there were zero instructions included (minus another star). Now, I'm fairly handy, so I was able to figure out how to assemble the seat, but someone who is not would likely struggle quite a bit. Once assembled, the seat itself appears solid, with nice handholds and a good safety belt to clip in, and will hopefully be a nice option for us to do some biking in the park as soon as I get a bike rack installed.
