Got this for my kids birthday. She absolutely loves it. It fits good it's dirty, so many different pictures. Very easy to understand and process with turning right and turning left and a stop button. She is 9 years old has zero issues understanding how to use the remote. I actually bought two of these one for my neighbor's son for his birthday coming up as they all ride together.

This review covers the JDBMAOYE Kids Bike Helmet I recently received through the Vine program. It's important to note this is my initial impression and personal opinion after examining and trying the helmet on a child within the target age range.**Overall Impression:** This helmet seems like a decent option for kids aged 5-14 who are into cycling, skateboarding, scootering, or other similar activities. The fun LED light feature is definitely a standout, and the adjustable fit is crucial for a growing child. However, further long-term use is needed to fully assess its durability and impact resistance.**Pros:*** **Eye-Catching LED Lights:** The 64-pattern RGB LED display on the back is a major selling point. Kids are naturally drawn to bright colors and moving patterns, making them more likely to wear the helmet willingly. The remote controlled indicator light is also a nice safety feature in low light.* **Adjustable Fit:** The 52-56cm size range with the adjustable inner diameter is great. It allows for a customized and secure fit, ensuring the helmet stays in place during activity. This adjustability also extends the lifespan of the helmet as the child grows.* **Ventilation:** The description mentions ventilation, which is important for keeping kids cool and comfortable during physical activity. I did observe vents across the top and rear of the helmet.* **Lightweight:** The helmet feels reasonably lightweight, which is crucial for kids who can be easily fatigued by bulky gear.* **Certified Safety:** The claim that the helmet complies with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission Safety Standard is reassuring. Passing the Dynamic Strength Test and Impact Test inspires confidence in its protective capabilities.**Cons:*** **Long-Term Durability Unknown:** While the description mentions a high-quality hard shell, it's difficult to assess the true durability of the helmet without prolonged use and potential impact.* **Remote Control Concerns:** While the remote is a nice feature for the indicator light, it's another small part that could potentially get lost or broken. Additionally, the long-term reliability of the remote and its connection to the lights remains to be seen.* **Battery Life:** Information on battery life for the LED lights is missing. It's important to know how often the batteries need to be replaced or recharged.* **Generic Brand:** The JDBMAOYE brand is not widely known, which can make it difficult to find additional information or reviews beyond what's provided in the listing.**Specific Observations:*** The color is vibrant and appealing to children.* The adjustable strap felt secure and easy to use.* The interior padding felt comfortable against the skin.**Recommendations:*** Provide more details on the battery life and replacement/recharging process for the LED lights.* Consider offering replacement remotes or integrated controls for the indicator lights for ease of use and durability.* Include more information about the specific impact testing standards met by the helmet.**Overall:**The JDBMAOYE Kids Bike Helmet is a visually appealing and potentially safe option for children participating in various sports activities. The adjustable fit and LED light features are definite pluses. However, long-term durability and battery life remain to be assessed. I would recommend this helmet with the caveat that you closely monitor its condition and usage over time. The fun factor will certainly encourage your child to wear it!

Feels like a solid, high quality build. I'm really happy with this and so is our LO. I mean, it has pink, so it was going to be fine regardless, but still. This is sufficiently fancy, that I won't have to nag about wearing safety gear.I haven't really included pictures of the animations. You really need a video to appreciate them anyway. There are a bunch, probably way more than you need, and they cover all sorts of genres. You can be well-assured that your LO will find several to be their favorites. I'm sure ours will migrate in the direction of the animated rainbow or the various heart-themed ones, but really, there are a ton. I didn't count. Thankfully, it returns to your selection when you turn it off and back on again. My favorites are the bright flashing visible ones, because safety is the name of the game. I recommend the red and blue rectangle one I've pictured. It flashes back and forth, like an emergency vehicle, and is very bright. There are several bright safety-oriented patterns, but most of the images and animations are for fun.Left, right, and stop are all animated and quite functional. The turn signals march across the screen in the direction of the turn; the stop alternates between "stop" and the "X." Very effective. Probably my favorite features, along with the couple of super bright flashing ones for visibility.Comes with all the cushioning already in place and 75% charged. Not really any assembly to do, except for adjusting to size. That's done the same as on any other helmet. Just turn the dial until it's snugged up right. There's even padding on the chin strap, which will help it stay comfortable to wear. The sun visor clips into place very solidly. A bit too solidly, TBH. I'm not sure I can remove it without damaging something. So, hopefully our LO wants it to stay on there. They've included a cloth bag, in case you want to keep it clean and shiny between uses.Anyway. I'm a huge fan of being as visible as possible on a bike. Yes, it's less of an issue for the LO, as around here, kids are supposed to bike on the sidewalks. Still, safety is a big issue. Falls happen and having a helmet that the tiny person will want to wear is half the battle.Huge thumbs up for this helmet. Highly recommended.
