For $30 this is a fantastic starter set for kids. It has everything needed to go out, set up and fish. Be careful not to get sand on the pole as it’ll make it difficult to use the telescopic parts, but even then it’s a great kit! The bag is nice too, because you can travel without losing pieces. For the price this is a must have and I highly recommend this!

The SHUDAROCAST Kids Fishing pole set comes with everything the young angler needs to go out and catch a big one. There is a telescoping rod that can be pushed back in for easy storage. It comes wuith a nice pink reel with plenty of line to cast out and lure fish. There is a small tackle box with everything the young angler needs to het started. there are Jigs, Bobbers, Swivels, weights, hooks and soft artificial baits. The set it functions just like a regular rod and reel from zebco or another company. They'll enjoy hours of fishing alongside Mom and Dad and family. Everything is easy to assemble and easy to use.

My 10-year-old daughter is a fisherman in the making now! This is a great little start out set and comes with everything you need to get them on the water fishing with you. It's such a compact little kit and the telescopic rod keeps her from breaking it when not in use. I would definitely say this is kid friendly, after about 10 minutes she was able to cast it herself and was fishing for bream in no time. It's definitely a good value because if you tried to buy all these little individual things at your nearest sporting goods store you would have spent four times the amount of this kit. This makes a whole lot more sense especially if you don't know if your kid is going to like fishing or not.

So, this is a great beginner set to see if your little fisherkid is actually into fishing or if s/he just likes to release the worms into the water, telling them to be free. This kit has everything you need to get started, though if your child does develop a love of fishing, s/he will quickly out grow this set. But, for a beginner, it is a decent kit at a decent price.

This is a cute fishing set for kids. While it’s cute and appears to be made well, the reel has legs that are made of plastic. That portion attaches to the pole by holding it in place, then twisting the cork down on the pole to lock it. That plastic is cheap and thin. I ordered another one of these in another color and it had arrived cracked. So I can tell that this part is really weak. I have yet to put this pink one to the test whilst fishing. Hoping it won’t crack while trying to catch fish because that wouldn’t be fun.

I recently picked up the Kids Fishing Pole Set (Rod and Reel Combo + Net, Tackle Box, Lures, Hooks, and Bag) for my kid, and I have to say — it's a fantastic all-in-one bundle for beginners! The rod is lightweight and just the right size for little hands. My child had no trouble casting after a little practice. It includes everything you need — lures, hooks, a decent tackle box, a fishing net, and even a carry bag to keep it all organized. No extra shopping required! The reel works smoothly, and the whole setup was ready to go right out of the box. Perfect for first-time fishers. Durable Enough for Kids. It’s held up surprisingly well after a few fishing trips, even with some rough handling. Great build quality for the price.

Cute little starter set for kids. The quality isn't super awesome, but this is a starter set and it's about what I'd expect. Let the little person have her own fishing pole, pink and everything. Quality isn't great, but it should hold up more than long enough for your child to decide whether they're genuinely interested in the sport and want to upgrade.Comes with all the basics. The pole extends to maybe 63" end to tip. The action on the reel is fine. There's even a drag adjustment, which I wasn't expecting. Little tackle box with all the basics, a net (useless, but that's not a big deal), and a pink carrying bag that will hold it all. All very user friendly. Even if the parent is also new to fishing, this should not be an intimidating set to use.Note that the net is kind of useless. It extends telescopically, but it's pretty tiny. Maybe 4.75 in. in diameter. It'll be better for catching bugs. Looks like something I'd see at the dollar store. But, other than the useless net and the quality being only so so, there's not a lot bad to say about this set up. Might be a bit overpriced, but not by a ton. It'll be a great way to introduce your child to the joys of fishing. Recommended.
