This jacket is fine. It does seem like it'll be warm, but I suspect that it won't do well on a slushy snowy/rainy day. It doesn't have a hard outer shell so it's probably going to soak through if it gets wet. I paid $56 for it, the color was really cute on my daughter, but it did run big.

The sizing was very off. It ran big by shoulders and big all around. I couldn’t make it work for any of my girls

Size S is probably for age 7-8This jacket is very suitable for boys body type. More so then the girl's, but label says girl's. Very comfortable and easy. Size S weighs around 350 grams hich is lighter then thick winter coats for kids, but heavier then thin down jackets.I live the double sided zip. It complements the narrowing design and unables child to be more comfortable when running or climbing.I am so sad that is to big for our use and we need to return it. It is absolutely the best winter down jacket you can get for a boy.Hood is great, zip is prefect, pockets, length, glove like sleeves.
