These are a really nice little way to get some other color into a fire. Easy to use, not a lot of extra smoke from them. Don't last a long time but not bad for something that burns. Just a fun idea.

The wood is great, it burns well and works really well in those "smokeless" firepits especially the small/medium size ones. Each log is small 5" compared to the grocery store log bundles you typically buy but these burn clean and give off decent heat.My kids loved the color changing packets. Its a fun little trick to do when having campfire.Would buy again.

Initially I thought this mini firewood isn't enough wood to start a campfire but it was PLENTY to get started and build a strong fire. I used this wood to light some slightly wet wood that was hard to light. I think this is a great alternative fire starter to build a strong fire without using gasoline or other fire starters.I think if you used this ONLY for a campfire you will run out of wood within 1-2 hours. The wood burns but it doesn't burn very long.

The wood itself s quality, it burns well and because there is no chemicals it is safe for cooking food. The small pieces are perfect for tabletop stoves/fire pits and as long as you don’t use the color changing packet the kids can roast their marshmallows. I just can’t see spending that much for firewood when you can just cut existing firewood smaller to fit tabletop fire pits.

If you own a 7" table top fire pit such as the Solo Stove Mesa XL or Campfire, this will fit your stove perfectly. I've tried both the 3.5" version of this firewood for my smaller Mesa, in addition to this larger 5" size for my Campfire and find that it's convenient and burns clean. I live in the city, so it's not ideal for me to buy firewood and cut it up into smaller pieces when I want to have a small tabletop fire to enjoy.My options are smoking chucks of wood, pellets, or these pre-cut pieces of firewood. While I enjoy pellets, it's a constant feed system that is somewhat of a pain, so I like using this firewood as it's a longer burning option and much cleaner.Overall, while this is an expensive alternative to smoking chunks (hence the once star deduct), it really is a high quality wood that burns clean. I feel comfortable roasting marshmallows over this wood without fear of having unknown fillers and binders that pellets might put off. It also means that I don't have to spend time prepping wood ahead of time as this is ready to go!

This dried mini firewood with color changing packets is as described. The firewood is good to have for our mini fire pit, we added these also to our campfire with the larger longs these burned up really quickly in comparison. The color changing packs are very neat and work within 30 seconds of tossing them in. We saw lots of green and blue and my kids were so fascinated with them. I appreciate the packaging giving details on how to use this safely. It’s a neat set, I don’t think the wood is really worth the price but the color changing packs are a lot of fun, with the amount of packs we have well be able to use them for a few campfires.
