These are tweezer -like terminal cleaners with a stick on abrasive. The abrasive is rough and cleaned corrosion off of terminals with ease. These are designed to clean corrosion off of pins in connectors to restore a good connection. Just make sure that the corrosion has not traveled up the wire, in that case, a more intensive repair will be required. There is a rivet on the end holding the two pieces together, I found that the rivet does not hold the two pieces in alignment and you have to regularly realign the tips...a minor inconvenience. The abrasive has held up so far, so I assume these will last a while.

This set is enough to clean about 80% of automotive terminals. There are some verrrry small terminals that this kit has no chance in helI of gaining access to. For 17$, it's silly not to have (if you're a diag tech).
