This is so great! My kindle (Paperwhite, 2021 11th gen.) has a case with a flip-type cover (so it opens like a book, like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09P3LLMJX which I need to replace, honestly, because mine's getting super worn-out after 3-years of daily use, but they don't have the sparkly rose gold available anymore, which means another problem for another day) so she's THICK.I've tried several other page turners in the past with varying degrees of failure: some don't even open far enough to begin with (those are for the people who run around with their Kindle completely naked...I could never), a couple others looked like they'd work, only to discover that my choice of case made the whole setup roughly 1/8" (or ~1/2 a cm) too thick for the clip to fully touch the screen, or it would start out just barely touching but then the spring in the arm would cause the clip to slide off so it was no longer touching after a few seconds. I was able to find one other page turner (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CNVSJSF1) that kind-of sort-of works with modifications (I had to cut out a little triangle/wedge shape from a dense piece of foam and glue it to the inside/bottom of the clip to hold it at the correct angle to keep the top arm touching the screen), but even that one slides/moves out of the correct position if you bump it (and the modification makes it more bulky, so of course it catches on stuff more easily) so that wasn't really a solid "win" for me.But THIS little beauty, she's 97% up to the task without requiring any extra help at all, AND she's pink on top of that! Because the clip is still so new, the spring in the arm is still a little bit too strong, and it does pull the contact point away from the screen just a bit, BUT it doesn't happen immediately, so I'm hoping that if I keep it fully opened/extended for a while the spring might loosen up a bit and solve that problem completely. IF it doesn't fix it entirely, then I think the solution will be an easy one (similar to the aforementioned foam wedge, but on a much smaller, less noticeable scale) so I'm confident this will end up being my new favorite couch-rotting accessory. My only, tiny, miniscule complaint (so small that I'm not even going to lower from five stars to four, but notable, nonetheless) is that the button on the remote is grippy. Like, it's definitely halfway a sensory issue for me, but also, from an aesthetics standpoint, because it's rubbery/squishy feeling and not smooth plastic like the rest of the remote, it's kind of a different color to begin with, but it's also going to get dirtier (and show that dirt) more quickly than the other parts of the smooth, hard plastic remote. I would have much preferred the button to be the same material (color, texture) as the rest of the remote body.

4.5 stars.... This is a great page turner. It's lightweight and the remote comes with a wrist strap so that it won't fall to the floor when you fall asleep reading. The clip holds nicely in place on the reader without slipping or falling out of place. It doesn't block the margins of the text, coming up to the edge but not further. It fits my Kindle with or without a thick case. (The case in the photo has a front and back, like a book, making it thicker than just a rear cover.)The only reason I took off half a star, to 4.5 ☆, is because occasionally there is a delay in the clip reacting, which causes me to hit the remote button a couple more times thinking it just didn't take, and then the clip suddenly turns 3 pages at once. This hiccup is annoying but doesn't happen too often - I read for hours at a time so I've experienced it over the last month enough to mention it but not enough to stop using it or be too aggravated. The battery has lasted and not run down on me yet, which makes me believe it will last for as long as advertised. For the price, this is a great value. The pale pink is a nice color as well, since I would surely lose a black remote and clip in my clutter.

Not sure why, but Amazon said my first review had a problem so they could not publish it (love when they do this-but do not tell you what the problem is!). So I am going to try again.I cannot say how much I love this item—especially when I am using the Treadmill. I love reading while “walking” but kind of annoying having to constantly swipe the page. With the page turner, I wrap the strap around my wrist and just press the button – so much easier. In the beginning I thought a person had to be pretty lazy to want this – but take my word, once you start using it—you will wonder how you ever did without it.Set up was very easy- I did have to charge both items before using.Comes with wrist strap, which, as I mentioned, does come in handy.Supposedly you can back-track with this (put the remote on the left side to backtrack/the right side to go forward) – but I tried and so far it has not worked. I figured that, to go forward, I would just tap tap my Kindle and to go back would use the remote- which would be great. I am not taking a star off for this since I figure I am probably doing something wrong. If I figure it out I will be back to update.Easy to charge with enclosed cable (thank goodness—no batteries). Not sure how long the charge will last—but get the feeling it will last awhile.I did notice that placement is very important. I showed in 2 of the photos what happens when it is placed high on the Kindle. Works fine if you place it closer to the middle of the Kindle (shown n 3rd photo)– just remember the thinner part goes in the front. If you don’t use it for awhile, it will go to sleep – just have to push the button on the receiver to get it to work again. Tried showing the button in the last photo.Received free thru Amazon Vine—but I would definitely buy again!
