This nipper is decent quality. Nice and sharp edges. I really like the rainbow trout colour pattern. The eye cleaner is sharp and can also be used for untying knots. Delivery was fast at only one day. Recommend!

Youre not getting these because theyre the best nippers....youre getting them because they look cool. THEY WORK....theyre standard nippers. But they just take the cool up a few notches because of the paint job. They look great!!!

This is my new colorful line clipper for my fishing kayak. I clipped a small snap on one end connected to a stretchy cord connected to a carabiner which I clip to a ring on my kayak. It works so well. The clippers are sharp and clip my line with little effort. The color is bright and easy to find. I do feel the price is a little high vs the Dollar Store clippers that do the same job so I deducted 1 start for this.

I’ve been using these Kingfisher nippers for a while now, and they’ve been a reliable tool for my fishing trips. I went with the Brook Trout pattern, which looks fantastic and adds a nice touch of personality to my gear. The nippers are sharp and cut through mono and fluorocarbon line with ease, though they struggle a bit with braided line, which is expected. The built-in hook eye cleaner is a handy feature, though I don’t use it often, it’s nice to have when I need it.One thing I really like is the compact design. They’re lightweight and easy to carry, and I’ve attached them to a retractable clip on my vest for quick access. The blades are sharp and aligned well, so I get clean cuts every time. The Brook Trout pattern is also easy to spot if I drop them, which is a bonus.That said, the glossy finish can make them a bit slippery when wet, so I’d recommend attaching them to a lanyard or retractable clip to avoid losing them. Overall, these nippers are well-made, functional, and a good value for the price. If you’re looking for a reliable pair of nippers with a bit of style, these are worth checking out.

Can't speak to the colourful versions, but the paint job on the straight green was a bit patchy, especially on the inside. May have even been hand-dipped. Nevertheless, the edge is nice and sharp and clips both mono and fluoro perfectly. Moreover, the edge is consistent all the way to the corners, which is the part that I find to be most important because I'm often clipping very light lines less than 6 lbs test and need the extra precision. The eye clearing point is also incredibly sharp which is great, but rather recessed in the gap. And since the hanging hole is so far down, you need to use a fairly large split-ring in order to have access to it. That's really the only downside. Otherwise, the nipper is great and rather lightweight for an essential piece of metal. Only hoping that it'll resist rust over time.

This is a phenomenal addition to my ice fishing tackle box. The nipper provides sharp cutting power allowing me to tie knots that are incredibly close to the eyelid of a hook and allow me to be precise with the snipping process. One thing that I love about this nipper is that it's easy to spot in the taco box and it's made of great quality steel I'm sure it will last for years to come.

Kingfisher gear is unrivaled. These are neat to look at as far as the brook trout pattern goes, and functionality is important...which they seem to do. They are sharp, look to be durable and as simple as using some nail cutters. The value for the money is excellent, and as mentioned, the designs offered are pretty cool! The real test will be a long fishing trip when we can use them on location. If there are any issues, we will report back, but as of now, we recommend this product and are so grateful to have them in our gear! Thanks so much Kingfisher & Amazon!

These nippers are a must have when on the river and you can’t be digging through your box/bag for scissors. I added a split ring to make them easier to attach to my front pack which keeps them right where I need for snipping snagged line and trimming knots. They are sharp and cut through mono and braided line cleanly. I like the color choice too, went with rainbow since that’s my main target here in the pac nw.

These stainless steel nippers are very lightweight and cut mono & flourocarbon great, but like other similar ones they will not cut braided line which require a more heavy duty blade. I really like the rainbow trout color graphics on these nippers that make them easier to notice when hanging on a vest or inside a tackle box. There is a small spike on one end which is used for cleaning out a hook eyelit and is recessed enough where it will not stick you when grasping the nippers. There is also a hole embedded through these nippers for attaching a thin lanyard to for securing them to either clothing or a tackle box. There are nine different colors of these nippers to choose from which is amazing. Based upon the quality and colors of these nippers I recommend them to other anglers.
