This did the job for me. Its holding up a rainfall shower head that is a replacement for a Delta head that was not to my liking. While the new head is much larger than the old one, this arm keeps it perfectly positioned. Love, love the new head and the arm.

Truthfully, it has met all my expectations because customer reviews forewarned me that tightening, loosening, adjusting, and tightening again would eventually take a toll on those moving parts. Then, the unit would begin to sag and to leak. I understand all similar units are subject to this occurrence.I have only had the unit a month and I am quite satisfied with it. Making a wildly unscientific estimation, I determined I would get good use of the unit, and I could economically replace it at some time in the quite distant future.Best wishes to all who join me in this purchase. :)

We bought this for an extension of our rain fall shower head and it looks awesome! We love the bronze look so we had to stay with it for the extension. This was the best price we could find.

Unfortunately, this product needs so much tightening to stop the leaking that it faces the wall instead of directly into the shower stall. The washer provided is too small and doesn't create a good seal. The hinges can be tightened to stop it from leaking, but it is useless as the shower now points at the side wall versus the back of the shower. I called Kingston Brass. George acknowledged the problem but wouldn't honor any warranty. Garbage.

An adjustable shower arm should be standard in all showers. This Kingston Brass adjustable arm installed in a couple of minutes and after a few retightenings workes great. The brushed nickel is gorgeous and matches my Moen fixtures, and the handles are solid metal and simple in style to blend well with my transitional theme. At first hand tightening, water shot from everywhere; after the second tightening, a steady drip; after the 3rd time, an occasional drip; and after applying the last of my elbow grease, no leaks. It is still adjustable, but not freely or easily swinging into place.Bottom line - this purchase was a great idea, the install was easy but requires hand strength, and I imagine a retightening will be required on a regular basis due to the hot and cold expansion / contraction cycle. My showers are so much better as now I can stand in the center of the tub and be showered by water from above.

perfect and great price. As with all things like this, best to be carefull when tightening, use plumbers tape and a wrench, dont be tempted to tighten using the body of the part and I suspect if you constantly adjust the hieght up and down, it will eventually leak and not tighten fully.However at 6.5, I now dont have to bend down when taking a shower....should have done it years ago.

The arm is made of solid brass, and matches very well with my shower head.The joints require hard tightening in order to have the arm set, and prevent leaks.Mine will stay fixed for the most parts, but for someone who requires frequent adjustments,I am afraid that the joints will get loose and leaky.
