Gas tanks on vehicles are tightly sealed systems and the build up of a vacuum inside the gas tank often causes the gas cap to be very difficult to loosen and remove. The bottom of the wrench fits securely over the raised bar on the gas cap and provides additional leverage, allowing the user to easily twist the cap open. This gas cap wrench fits a Toyota Rav4, Tundra and Corolla. Makes tightening the gas cap until you hear one click very easy. Great for people with arthritis in their fingers/hands who otherwise have trouble tightening the gas cap.

There is an inadequate product description on Amazon. There is NO mention of what vehicles it fits or does not fit. As I have a very common vehicle (Honda CRV), I assumed the device would fit or at least be adjustable. It is neither. The seller requires ALL purchasers to pay for return shipping, regardless of the reason. I believe the seller is just trying to get rid of overstock and is defrauding customers to sell items that are unusable to most of the vehicle owners. Buyer Beware!!!!

Would have worked great if the clamp part was wider. Wouldn't fit a Honda Civic gas cap due to a "fatter" gas cap ridge thatthe wrench fits on. Totally worthless for my application. However, the wrench was quality made and would work on a slimmer cap handle.Having one custom fabricated for my use. :(
