Build and quality are good, however the mounting holes are not factory width. They are more narrow on the part than the tractor. You WILL have to drill out your holes on the tractor to make this part work. Carb worked well after final install. If mounting was direct fit this would be a five star product.

Fit my “53” Golden Jubilee perfect! Be careful not to crimp the brass gas inlet fitting by using wrench in center of threads it will roll the brass down and oblong the threads. If the tractor hesitates a little when giving throttle or releasing clutch turn main needle ( big knurled screw) counter clockwise an 1/8 of turn at a time and it should fix the problem. Love the fact it’s aluminum/brass and not cast steel. Great Carb!

I bought this carb for a Ford tractor just by matching the model # from the old carb. You really need to measure the intake port and outlet port to be sure, but I didn’t have the old carb available when I ordered, I just had the old carb model #. There are multiple markings on the old carb, so I googled and viewed a video to figure out which one was the model #. Everything fit perfectly and ran perfectly (once all the electrical glitches were also fixed). Like other reviewers have said, there are no instructions, but the tractor cranked right up and ran well with no adjustments straight out of the box. I did end up adjusting the idle set screw and adjusted the richness 1/4 turn richer. There is one adjustment knob that I am not sure what it is for. I will look it up at some point. One good thing in the package is that a new fitting is included for connecting the gas line to the carb. The factory gas line is steel with a steel fitting screwing into a brass inlet. The steel line is difficult to line up properly when installing, and I stripped the threads on the fitting of the old carb. I also damaged the threads on the new fitting. I ended up cutting the steel line, soldering the fitting at the carb (that was stripped) and using a copper line with compression fittings and adapters for reconnecting to the steel fuel line. It is all 1/8” line and fittings. Looks good and worked great for me, I recommend.
