This Two Cherries curved blade chisel is designed for cleaning out joints, and reaching tight spots where a standard chisel simply will not fit. This tool will become a welcome problem solver in the shop. Manufactured in Germany since 1858, Two Cherries are known around the world for exceptional quality and edge retention. Solid forged of the highest quality carbon steel, each chisel is hardened to 61° Rockwell, producing a strong chisel that will stay sharp longer than most other chisels. Each tool is then fitted with a hornbeam handle appropriate for the size of the blade

Sehr guter Beitel, der durch seine S-Form gut flach schneiden kann. Ich habe ihn benutzt um die schmalen Holzleisten an der Decke einer akustischen Gitarre zu bearbeiten. Nach Schärfen war er noch besser. Ich habe inzwischen noch einen mit anderer Breite gekauft. Sehr zu empfehlen!

This wood chisel does exactly what it was made for. Feels great in my hand heavy, but well balanced. Seems to hold an edge longer than my other ones.

So easy to use and it arrived much sharper than I thought it would be, so I took it out of the package and began using it right away to carve the braces on the acoustic guitar I'm building.

I'm a luthier. I build acoustic guitars. Two Cherries chisels are my chosen brand of chisels. They hold a scary sharp edge for a long time. I finally invested in a curved chisel, which is the perfect curve for guitar bracing. It cleans away unwanted wood quickly and efficiently. Amazon's price is much lose than the luthier supply house.

I make guitars and this chisel is just the ticket for carving the scallops on the inside bracing.On my chisel the finish on the handle was not great, but after some use it is going to look worn anyway. A great chisel for my purposes.
