I used to crack the garlic clove with a smack of the side of a knife blade which would loosen the paper shell. I still have to use this thing. After putting the bare clove into this thing, the twisting is NOT as easy as they try to make it appear. For an older person, I have arthritic troubles and don't have the strength to twist. I am going back to hand dicing the cloves!

Works pretty good. A little difficult to get the garlic out of all the grooves.

Works great for what it’s for (garlic). My last one broke after extended use and this is a great but easy to use hand grater to shred garlic. Easy to grip.Would recommend.

I only give 4* because I didn’t expect that it’s gonna be this tiny. I use a lot garlic when I’m cooking, this gadget can only fit up to 2 medium sized garlic, but it does it’s job so I kept it!

perfect for grinding spices, especially dry ones like oregano. did also work with garlic but it can be a little messy.
