Wow this mallet is very well made. Used it tonight for chicken cutlets. They were almost paper thin and very tender. Works quickly, very convenient!

Purchased for a friend, this kitchen staple for a guy who is new in the world and wanted to make some schnitzel. - this is a metal meat mallet; he didn’t have one before and he claims that it worked pretty well (… I will go no further with this). Again, no complaints from the receiver; his schnitzel turned out okay!He did say that the handle was nice, comfortable to use. The mallet is double sided, for more course or smooth effect when flattening the meat.On our end, the price point was where we wanted it and upon receipt we looked at it for a few moments; it looked like it’ll do fine for intermittent kitchen use.Again, the recipient liked it.

Bought this because the one I bought from Walmart just about wrecked my dishwasher and soaked my other dishes in some kind of black grease. Ugh! Anyhow, this tenderizer is not only beautifully crafted but works like a charm! Also very happy that I can throw it in the dishwasher and get it cleaned really good! Feels sturdy but lightweight and makes tenderizing a breeze!
