This is a must have for burgers. I was concerned by the reviews, but have learned over the years to think logically about purchases. the key to success is use wax paper. I cut one piece big enough for both sides and the folder over. Place the wax paper over the lower section then put a piece of ground beef in each side, fold wax paper over the ground beef and then place the top and press to desired thickness. We have use for at least 10 lbs now and it works great. The wax paper prevents sticking and makes the clean up easy.

Makes nicely shaped burgers but the meat stcks to both top and bottom of press. I solved this by placing parchment paper inside the press before putting the beef in the press, but this makes the process longer and defeats the purpose of using the press.

yes, it was exactly what I ordered, I used one as a cook for a bar and loved it then so I had to have one for the house.

Very easy to use, makes perfect burgers that actually fit in a bun. I recommend washing by hand not in dishwasher because handle is wood. I had one for about 3 years and family members wanted one also. They love it!

This is a great product for making 1/3 - 1/2 lb. burger patties. The slats that the press makes in the patty helps keep the burger nice and flat when cooking. I found that a small sheet of parchment (or wax) paper on the bottoms solves the sticking issues noted by other reviewers.
