How to use it correctly ?
Add coals on the bottom of the grills
- Because the heat element is 360 degree heating. So don't waste any heat from it.
- Let the coals burning from the center.
Add charcoal starter on the coals
- The bottom of the heat tube will ignite the coals under it
Add more coals to bury the heat element
- After the heat element covered by more coals.
- Then plug into the electronic socket. Let the burner start work
Plug in and wait 8-13 minutes. Your grill ready
- When most coals burning, Pls move the lighter out.
- Let the burning coals to light up the others.

I bought this last summer and it is still working like it should. Heats up the lump charcoal pretty quickly. I usually have to replace these every bbq season so we will see how long it lasts.

Bought this for use with our Kamado bbq. Have only used it with charcoal so far but are very impressed by the quality and performance. No criticisms to make at this point

It works as advertised. I put a few briquettes at the bottom of the fire pit, add the electric starter, and put a few briquettes on top. It starts to smoke after a minute or two and I have a nice fire after 6.5 minutes.Make sure you follow directions and don't leave it active in the fire pit any longer than 8 minutes or it could melt. Set a timer so you don't forget.

I use this for my Kamado Big Joe. It is nice and large and can withstand some decent temps. I have destroyed other lighters like these buy leaving them too long and I thought I had done the same to this one but It still works like a charm. No sign of too much heat even though the coals were raging! This is the one you want.

We really enjoy this product!We don't have to use stinky yucky lighter fluid anymore! Heats fast too! My only complaint is it could use a longer cord

The plastic handle is held together with 3 very lightweight screws, but the real problem was that when the handle was assembled it was actually pinching the power cord, which feels very lightweight for 700w. It worked well enough but I didn’t trust it so I returned it.
