Two links too short for a 2016 S-Works Stumpjumper (1x11).Have bought the SRAM original chain every year for this bike and always needed to remove a couple links. This year I splurged for an upgraded KMC chain.Doesn't look particularly "upgraded" since I had to add a couple links from my old chain. Yikes

I bought this chain mainly because it was black and I recently got a black Sunrace cassette so with my 105 Chainrings, thought it would look cool if the whole drive train was black (it does!), but surprisingly this chain is silky smooth, way better than the Shimano 105 chain I had prior, and again it’s going between a Sunrace cassette and Shimano 105 chain rings. Would highly recommend this chain!

I purchased this to replaced my original 105 chain and after installing it , noticed smooth gear changes and bike feels like new again.No excessive sounds when changing gears.

Love love it. Looks stellar on the bike. Great price. Not a painted finish, but rather a beautifully coated finish that is silky even to the touch. Comes in a real nice box that shows off every bit of glory this chain has from the moment you first see it. Shifts as to be expected - EXCELLENT! Would definitely buy again.PROS: Looks, build quality, packaging, length will fit almost ever bike.CONS: Price is up there.

This chain works great! I have installed these working as a mechanic and I use them on my personal bikes as well. Very strong, clean shifts, and very durable.

It shifts great, it's really efficient, it looks cool. BUT it breaks way too easily. I've had links sheer in half and pins break. For the cost I'm really not a fan

Chain seems to work okay. Given the price however, I think just okay isn't really acceptable. In use with brand new cassette and good waxed based lube, the chain is more noisey than the much cheaper Shimano XT and XTR chains I normally use, and while it shifts okay, there some some loud pops from an unsettled shift a few times per ride. Also, the black "diamond like coating" has worn off the rollers within a single 25km ride. Not very diamond like if you ask me.

Smooth shifting, self-cleans very well. I'm hoping it outlasts the stock SRAM 1130 chain and doesn't stretch out as fast. Will report back when it dies!Update: I just replaced after two seasons of exceptionally hard riding. It barely stretched to the 50% wear on my chain checker. Very low maintenance chain, oiled it rarely and never really had to clean it. Considering I wear out a normal chain every 6 months, this was well worth the investment.

It looks cool and all, but I have busted it 3 times. It is great on flats, downhills, and slight uphills, but steep climbs wreck this chain. If you really power down on it, you'll bust it.

Chain works well on both my Campy mechanical and EPS bikes. Durability seems good but have only logged 1500 miles so can;t say it lasts longer than cheaper chains. No noticeable wear to date. Removed one star because of cost. The fancy packaging was totally unnecessary and undoubtedly added to the cost.

This chain works well with a Dura Ace 9000-11 speed set-up. Got it for a steal from BrinVO for under $100. I have KMC X**SL chains on all of my bikes (9 & 10 speed XTR MTB's, 10 speed Fatbike and 11 speed road).On the 10-speed MTB, I have over 2000 miles on it and haven't had a single issue. I bought the KMC digital chain checker and it measures out at .040" wear...KMC states they are done @ .080 so 2000 miles/no chain brakes/half-life wear = bad-a$$ chains.Something to note: on the 11-speed chain specifically, I had to use the red-handled KMC link closing tool due to the chain being more narrow than the 10-speed and the tolerances are tighter. KMC states the 11-speed link is a 1-time use link...I have reused the link once so far and just did a 100 mile ride and no issues.
