I recently installed the K&N cold air intake. It was a perfect fit for my IS250, instructions were clear, and was fairly easy to install. The intake itself is a bit quiet for my car, but it has a small engine. However, it does make a difference when I drive. Ihave increased fuel economy and horse power, and it didn't trigger a check engine light code. I'd recommend this product 100%

got a little confused with how to assemble the bolts and washers although that’s more likely because i don’t really work on cars. i enjoyed putting it on myself though it’s relatively simple and took me about an hour and some. the induction is seriously noticeable and makes my car way louder. great materials would recommend.

Mine came without the housing to place the intake. This product is a scam.

I actually used this for my Toyota Mark X(it uses the same body as the IS 250) and it has a noticeable sound and performance increase. I also noticed an increase in fuel economy especially when driven on the highway.

Shipped quickly in excellent condition. Easy to install with straightforward instructions provided. Increased power and fuel economy on my Lexus IS350. Provided deeper power tones at higher RPMs, but quiet and not obnoxious during regular or eco driving styles. Very nice piece of kit!

Easy to install, all parts supplied. Took me approx 90minutes. Sounds beautiful when over 4000rpm, nice and throaty. Car was too quite without it. Knocked a star of and gave 4 stars as the heat shield could be a better fit. The factory air intake pipe directing air through the heat shield to the filter isn’t a fully snug fit, and lots of gaps around heat shield that should be snug to keepvgot engine air out. Still recommend, love k&n

Great bit of kit. Since fitting it to my car and now using it for the last 4 months, I am still smiling everytime I open the taps. The engine roars, making a distinct sound from the k&n. Coupled with the custom built stainless steel system, it makes the car stand out! A must have for is250 owners. Best upgrade to date hands down!In terms of economy, I havent noticed any reduction in fuel consumption. I still get around 230miles out of my tank using V power (city driving).Fitting was a little fiddly, but can be done with little mechanical knowledge and expertise. It took around 4hrs to fit (taking my time to ensure everything was snug and bolted tight with no air leaks).

Awesome sound and response!!! Brings the joy back into riding.Just the hum of acceleration makes you want to step on the gas even more.. Just be careful not to attract certain unwanted attention. Be ready for a ticket everytime you zoom on open road..

I just had it install on my 2011 IS350. I agree with other reviewers. The installation process was fairly easy though the instruction is not good. It took me ~2hrs to get the job done. Everything fits well, I only have to trim off a bit of the excess cushion trimming for the heat shield. K&N should have the trimming pre-installed on the heat shield! Anyways, with minor improvement in the installation instruction, the installation shouldn't take ~60min or less. Now back to the main thing that is the performance improvment:1. My IS350 now growls when I push the gas pedal, I like the sounds. It preserve the quietness of the lexus if you don't throttle hard but growl when pushed.2. It reponses better, maybe the sound affect make me feel that way.3. Seems to improve on the gas milage but honestly I can't tell the different yet.

I AM PLEASED WITH THE EXTRA PERFORMANCE,THE SOUND WHEN YOU STEP ON IT AND THE WAY IT LOOKS.I INSTALLED THIS ON MY 2007 LEXUS IS250, WITH A FEW PROBLEMS. 1. THE INSTRUCTIONS WHERE FOR A 2005 IS250 AND A 2006 IS350.THE AIR BOX ON MY CAR DID NOT LOOK LIKE THE PICTURE ON THE INSTRUCTIONS AND THE INSTRUCTIONS STATED TO CUT 6in OFF THE RUBBER THAT GOES AROUND THE BOX.ON MY BOX YOU DO NOT REMOVE ANY RUBBER I AM GLAD I TRIED EVERY THING BEFORE CUTTING THE RUBBER STRIP.THE AIR FILTER CAME WITH TO MUCH OIL AND THE POLISHED CHROME RAM WHERE THE FILTER ATTACHES TO SHOULD BE SANDED TO REMOVE THE SMOOTH SURFACE BECAUSE I DIN'TAND THE FILTER SLID OFF CAUSING THE COMPUTER TO MALFUNCTION SO I HAD TO GO TO MY LEXUS DEALER TO DX THE PROBLEM.

2006 Lexus IS350I was kind of hesitant to make such an upgrade since the car is quick and fast enough as it is. But I took the plunge and purchased the product and installed it myself. The instructions are pretty clear and the installation process should take about 1 hour or less as long as you have all the tools. Pretty easy, actually. As far as the performance of the product and what it does to your car, if you're not familiar with upgrading to higher performance parts in place of the stock equipment, you have to understand that it will chance the standard dynamic of your car from what the manufacturer of your vehicle intended. That being said, although the performance gain is rather minimal in terms of numbers (about 2-5% RW HP gain) the feel and response is significant. At tip in from about 2000 to 3500 RPM you will hear a louder snarl from under the hood. As with the stock intake you barely notice anything, the K&N adds a tone that most enthusiasts will enjoy. On the other hand, once you stomp it it and let your tach run past 4000 to redline the difference is obvious. I rarely stomp the pedal but when you do the sound is extremely aggressive and, in my opinion as far as I'm concerned, the response is excellent.Once you accept the fact that this upgrade is not 100% inconspicuous you will love the change. Only thing I regret is not doing this sooner. Also, I live in an area that rains a lot and is rather dusty and windy all times of the year (Houston) I'd recommend the Filter bag that goes on the outside of the ram air filter.
