For a non-motor head, this was quite easy as everything fit to the nuts. I almost cut the air mass sender wires because they were to short before realizing K&N had included an extender in the box. I have noticed a definite increase in sound as well as a slightly quicker acceleration.

After 2 years of installing this Cold Air Intake, the piece connecting throttle body to the air filter started cracking all over. Had to put the original air intake back :(

No trae el adaptador del sensor map no 👎 lo pude instalar tu be que poner el de fábrica otra ves el proble es que no tengo idea de pedir otra ves el mismo producto y no o sé si vendrá a hora si la tapa para poder poner el sensor

Throttle body adapter was not included in the box. Had to put the stock intake back on.

Wasn't sure it would fit my 2017 Mustang GT but the K&N website said it would. Took me about 2 hours to install. I'm a little anal retentive about installing stuff and taking my time. Even a novice with basic hand tools and install this kit. Kit went together well. Instructions were a little weird like where it mentioned step nine when it should of said ten. Also make sure the tube fits snug before tightening up the mounting bolts. The tube in place and tight is very important. You don't want the tube to come loose or dirt will get into your engine. Also if you can shine a light through the filter don't clean it. When you do follow the directions and let the filter completely dry before oiling it. It may take a couple days in the sun. If not the filter will be wet and the water and oil get sucked into the engine. Not a good situation. After install take it for a spin and listen for any unusual noise. The intake will be noticeably louder (reason I wanted it in the first place). One of the first and best performance upgrades for fuel injected vehicles on the market. Uploaded before and after pics.

Awesome product and SUPER easy installation. I installed this kit in under 45 minutes. The power is instantly noticeable and it really cleans up the engine compartment. K&N always does a great job with their CAI kits and this one is no different. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Improved throttle response, fuel economy, and intake sound.Only caveat is that the air-flow sensor mounting holes are about 3/32" off on my 2017 model, so mounting it was a bit more of a struggle than anticipated, and it's not sitting perfectly flush, but performs corectly so far.

I have used K&N's for over 25 years. Cars, trucks, SCCA, and motorcycles. I have always been very happy with their products. This was a pretty easy install. Take your time, as it's a tight fit and I recommend using blue locktite on the hardware for the air box mounts. I like this design because it takes in air from the factory front grill area and the driver side hood air intake. It may not be as pretty as the closed top air box design, but I think it works better as it's not as restrictive. (I would like to see some Dyno results comparing the two designs sometime). Great product!

Personally loved it took me a little longer to install after I drove the car 50 miles in 3rd gear and up I noticed the differance and it was noticeably louder. I'm very glad I bought it.
