I own a 2015 Subaru WRX STI. I was a little hesitant about ordering this intake. I am by no means a mechanic and no experience at all installing an aftermarket product like this. It was easy enough that I could completely install the intake with the tools I already have. I think it maybe took around 30-45 minutes. I saw some reviews mentioning having to cut the trim to fit, I did not need to do that. Just followed the instructions and started up the car and instantly heard the difference! I can feel the increase in HP particularly after 3rd gear, and for the first time in almost 10 years I can actually hear my blowoff valve! And the growl from the intake is a beautiful sound. This is the second K&N product I have owned. The previous was an exhaust on my old F150. I love K&N products and will always choose them when available!

This in not tunable unless u pay for a custom tune... honestly I dont trust it just running without a tune... besides if you get a cold air intake you definitely want to run a tune with it!

Works as advertised! Easy install, looks good, and engine sounds great, not too loud, but nice. One slight complaint, they didn't send enough rubber trim to do the heat shield, also, the instructions didn't mention using part of rubber seal after cutting for the edge of the heat shield, to use the rest of the cut to fill the heat shield hole where the intake pipe has to go thru. No big deal. I called K & N customer service and they sent me a extra long piece of the rubber seal to fix the problem, otherwise I'm golden. Good job on the delivery to me!Thank you!

This thing is awesome, immediately feel gain in power and has a pretty sick sound installation isn't bad just make sure you have socket ranch with 10mm socket and your good to go. Overall great product and performance

This intake is amazing. There literally aren't words to describe the amazing sounds your STI will produce after this thing is installed. To echo what other reviews have said, it really makes the stock BOV come alive. K&N makes top quality products that will enhance the sound and performance of any car. It took me about 45 minutes to install this intake with all of the recommended tools. I can't wait to get up in the morning and drive my STI to work,

GREAT MOD for my 2016 Subaru STI !! ... Easy installation , opens up the engine bay . Plus now I can hear my turbo and blow off valve WOOOSH !! Totally worth the money . The red crackle matches the stock components too . Buy it - you won't be disappointed .

Product installed very easily – 45 minutes from unboxing to driving. It will help you to assemble everything with beforehand, such as cutting the trim pieces and fitting them on the heat shield. Also, be sure you have the tube through the shield and filter fitted before popping the hood. A little WD40 helped the tight rubber fittings go on perfectly. It's much easier to attach the rubber coupler to your turbo inlet first, then you can move the intake tube into place before fastening everything down fully. Very clean install.There's really only one thing you need to know about this intake aside from the HP addition...it sounds AMAZING. This thing really brought the factory blow-off valve to life, as well as greatly increase the turbo sound. At full throttle in Sport Sharp mode, this thing makes your '15 STI sound like a 747 taking off. Then, when you shift, a very audible "PFFSHHHHHHHH!" from the BOV...it sounds like I have an aftermarket blow-off valve, but I don't. You will absolutely turn heads with this intake.This unit is built extremely well with red crackle powdercoating to match your STI manifold, and has perfect fitment of heat shield. Performance wise, my butt dyno detects better turbo response with decreased lag and more top end power. No complaints whatsoever, no check engine lights, no hassle. Just a great intake that brings HP and great sounds to your 2015 STI.Important to note that this one of the few intakes for the 2015 STI that does not require a tune. It could benefit from a tune, sure, but it will not make your stock STI throw a CEL or run poorly.
