I have too many blades!!!! My wife can get upset with me when there is another package!!! HAI say that to say, I have used many swords, blades and knives. This product is not a practice sword or one to slice something. This is a blade that becomes eye candy on the wall. For this purpose, its' perfect.Craftmanship and design is sharp looking. The detail on the blade is nice. The weight is good.I have enjoyed this sword and I think you will too!

Bought the sword for a costume. Overall the sword is fairly nice. The blade is about 1/8 of an inch thick at the base and 1/16th at the tip. It is not sharpened. I'm sure you could sharpen it but I don't know if that would ruin the finish. It is made of 440 stainless in China. The marking on the blade is painted on almost looks stamped on. The handle is sturdy. Detail is okay. The handle is also made of some kind of metal. Seems like it was painted then finished with some kind of clear coat. The sword is heavy. I can't give an exact weight but maybe 5 lbs 🤷🏽♂️.Now the plaque. Plaque itself is okay, hanging it in my garage once I figure it out. For starters the holes for the hardware were not drilled all the way through so I had to poke them out. Then the screws were too big for the prefilled holes. So I had to use a 3/16 drill bit. They then fit snug through the hole. Once I did that (not sure what to call them so we will call them studs) the screws were too big for the studs. So moral of the story is I can't use the plaque because the hardware does not work. Also, the studs were dirty. Looks like they are rusted or some type of corrosion is on them. All in all depending what you plan to use this sword for the plaque sucks but sword is nice so I gave it 4 out of 5. If the plaque worked I would have given it a 5 out of 5 at least for my purpose and the value.

A beautiful replica for display! Not disappointed at all..it not only lived up to my expectations, but exceeded them. No buyers remorse here! Intricate design work and incredible workmanship! Well worth the money!

Beautiful, nice display, but do not attempt to swing it. It's very fragile. I had to hang it with my eyes closed because if I looked too hard, it might break. I still only peak at it with one eye.

I bought the sword for my husband for our Anniversary! He has one of the oldest documented genealogies in Scotland's Clan Arthur! Yes!! Clan Arthur! The sword is heavy-duty and beautifully engraved! My husband had to carry the box into the house as it was a bit heavy for me. He was SO excited! He knew it was his Anniversary gift. But, he didn't know what it was! lol. He was like a little kid on Christmas morning as he opened it! OMG!! His eyes lit up just like a little one too! I'd highly recommend the sword to anyone who has a collection. It's not sharp enough to hurt anyone. Though, if you used it like a baseball bat... it is heavy enough to knock them out! lol. (I wouldn't recommend sword fighting with it). A gorgeous display piece!! And, yes... I'll probably have to buy at least two more as we have two sons! When they see this... they're going to want one too! The engraving is gorgeous!

A high quality show piece. This is something cool for the wall but of no practical use unless you participate in fantasy or costume stuff. Absolutely worth every penny though and at minimum, a conversation starter. One thing to note is that they pre drill the holes on the wall plaque designed to display the sword, then they cover that board with their faux wood laminate paper. With no instructions inside the box, you have to eyeball the plaque's surface pretty closely to see the outlines of the holes. The supplied screws poke right through the laminate but it's really easy to miss the holes, further confused by a tiny bag of screw hardware in the box with no explanation. Be careful when threading the screws into the mounts though because they're easy to strip. If you're on the fence, buy this. You won't be disappointed.

Packaging was not the best - the box should be thicker to better support the sword and its weight. Interior foam was torn up and side of box was partially open.Sword itself was slightly loose at the handle. Not a major issue but I expected a tight fit.The mounting plaque was marred slightly but it "ok" condition. I can touch it up with a furniture pen. Lastly, the bolts that attach the hanging hardware are too short and do not "catch" enough onto the "knob" end to screw in. Poor execution. Needed to go to Home Depot and pick up an M5-0.8 x 25mm bolt, which fits perfectly. I noticed some reviewers saying there are no visible mounting holes on the wooden display plaque. Not true. They are there, you just need to find them by feel, then simply pick them with your finger. The mounting holes are all pre-drilled; you just need to press through the surface of the wood to access the pre-drilled holes. Would have given a 5 starts if it were not for the loose handle and faulty mounting hardware. The photo attached shows the display brass "knob", underneath is the bolt that comes with it. Too short. And finally, the M5 bolt I purchased at Home Depot, which is long enough to extend past the depth of the wood plaque and screw into the knob hanger.

Looks as pictured and is very heavy, shiny steel. Your arm could get a real workout. No scabbard. Hanging plaque. which is flimsy compared to the sword. The black design on the shaft is paint, not engraving, the hilt is pewter colour but quite imitation, and the brass areas are too gold and painted looking. Obviously cast, but historically based. For 60.90 USD you are getting your money's worth at the very least in what would be American labour hours, not just materials. Its almost impossible to bend,,, its elegant, and if you go to Renaissance Festivals or display it on your wall or lay it out on a sheep pelt or what have you, its lovely décor. And weopon worthy in an emergency. If you have any doubts, buy it. It will last longer than that Cross pen or nice dinner out. Comes in a discrete white box with packing peanuts and no description of whats in side, thank goodness, cause it was left outside my door and I am currently living in Florida which is pretty much Wacko World. Aside from that, for 60 bucks you get a big, beautiful hunk of metal, one of the longest swords available on the net, and I'd give it a 3 if it was 400 dollars, but for the price, a 5, no doubt. You need it for your man cave!
