This trimmer works better than the corded ones. I gave it 3 stars for light weightHey this has an 80 volt battery. It cuts bushes like going through butter.I have Kobalt 80 volt weed wacker, blower and now this trimmer. its a shamethat Kobalt is not making any more 80v products when you see one get it

IF you want a light-weight tool, this isn't it—but... it does pack a punch and will cut with ease through your shrubbery. So far I have used this tool once on my bushes and it cuts very well. Your arms may get tired of holding this tool after a while due to the heavy-duty weight, but in this instance, the bit of extra weight is worth it, making this tool (so far) feel durable and capable. The blade length covers quite a swath of area so you can cut off lots of stuff all at once.I may need to come back here again and provide an update after I have used this tool for a season or two. Good tool as far as I can see.

I already have the 80 V KOBALT mower and 2 batteries so adding on to the collection. The package arrived in good shape, and I gave it a spin right away. It does exactly what I need and I took care of my whole yard. Not even using half of one battery. Equally as powerful as my old gas powered trimmer. I think I’m going to have to get the rest of the set with a Weedwhacker and blower.

Although I'm sure this hedge trimmer would be great for some people, the weight of the battery alone was just too much for us. Returned without ever using.
