This fits well per size chart, went on easily and looks nice. Tried it on my dog though and in seconds she had chewed through this strap that she was able to get into her mouth while it was on so not thrilled with that. it will still work but I will have to staple or glue the end of this strap over now to make sure it doesn't slip through the buckle.

This is a super cute and well-made life vest for my five-pound Pomeranian. However, at first, it seemed a bit heavy and a little big for her. The measurements suggested it would fit, but it still seems a little big. Nonetheless, there's no doubt it will hold her up in the water. I especially like that the life vest fits her whole body, not just her head and upper body. I haven't used it in the water yet because my pup is not interested in getting close to the water. I take her to a dog beach on the weekends, and she loves running on the sand, but she has only gone close to the water once and didn't seem to like it. I didn't realize until then that she may not be able to swim. It turns out not all dogs instinctively know how to swim, especially little dogs. For this reason, I plan to continue using this life vest at the beach and definitely when we go boating. The best part is that she doesn't seem to mind wearing the life vest, and it doesn't seem to slow her down in the least. If you have a little dog, a dog with a flat face, or a dog that is anxious in water, this vest is a great solution. Overall, I'm very happy with the vest and will definitely continue using it.

My guy likes this a lot. It’s not too bulky and appears very well made with Velcro underbelly part linked to top part and also strapped over the top of the Velcro strip connection. Tightening the belts to make the vest snug was a little tricky and a bit more fiddly than just pulling tight but it’s a one time deal and so only a minor gripe. When they’re adjusted, they ain’t budging.If I have one gripe, it’s that unlike in many of the pictures, the vest didn’t cover anywhere near his full back length so it looks a little short on him, a 70lb dog with normal proportions, wearing an XL. I wouldn’t recommend you measure based on my experience though. The size chart does not measure back length which I guess makes sense when neck and chest are the only variables which would affect the top and bottom halves of this connecting as they should.All in all, he likes it, so I like it and that big handle on the back will come in handy for pulling him out of the water onto my board!I hope you find this helpful 👇
