The kit appeared to be in good shape, but when my technician tried installing the first spark plug, it broke apart,so he had to drive into town to purchase a new plug.

I bought this package to perform the required oil change and service. The oil filter was perfect, used 2 quarts of oil, changed out the air filter and spark plugs. Great package for one stop place to buy the necessary service package. Recommend

Cam with the correct plugs, air filter and oil filter. The oil is standard synthetic, but I figured I’d use it since the kit comes packaged together. The maintenance nag on the generator wants you to do the maintenance every year, but if it’s used only two or three times during the year the oil and filters are not dirty enough to warrant a full replacement. I expect they do that to drive service business dollars to the local authorized service centers. It is convenient to get everything in one box, so I gave it four stars - I do think it’s a bit overpriced.
