Extremely smooth water flow, no fluctuations at all. Good pressure, and works as it should. Shuts off at pressure, had to do some minor modifications to the mounting panel, but fit good after that. Installed easy as any water pump, and for the price you can't go wrong. I definitely recommend this.

Replacing my original 3.5 gpm water pump that came with my 2014 FR3. This fit perfectly into the space and took less than an hour to install. Better water flow with much less noise.

Very pleased with this product. Well built, well packaged and installed easily. It runs very quiet and with very much improved pressure and flow. Only thing I changed was to replace the 10 amp fuse on my circuit breaker panel with a 15 amp fuse, to keep things within the specs stated on the box.

My original Shur-Flo 4008-101-a65 had a leaky check valve. Replaced with a different pump (from Amazon) which _also leaked_. Then tried this one: good replacement, no leaks (so even when it sits for a long time does not lose pressure). Same performance as the original and about as quiet (once you get the air out of the system - really noisy until then). Can't speak to longevity but let's hope.

I just now opened this item up, to read the manual prior to installing it. Immediately, I see that it needs a 40 amp fuse installed as current protection. This is not mentioned on the Amazon product page at all. I have searched since I've learned this and cannot find where I needed to purchase any additional items, or I would have.I have contacted the manufacturer for resolution, and will update this review once I understand the resolution. Also, they state that maintenance and winterizing is required after periods of storage, but do not offer any process for either maintenance, or winterizing. Although winterizing may just be pouring the water out of it, but I do not know for certain. Absolutely not off to a good start here.

Installed my new Kohree RV Water Pump today, and it works great! I like the mounting platform with the screw-down connectors. This pump provides a quieter pump operation than the old, OEM pump, which was only 3 GPM, with no accumulator tank. The 5.5 GPM pump provides better pressure and flow, with the accumulator tank providing some “shock absorption,” so if someone is taking a shower, and another person starts washing dishes, “the shock” of the water turning on and off for the person in the shower is not felt. Overall very pleased with the item, the price, and the quicker-than-expected delivery.

At first I had the unit flat on the ground horizontally for about 2 to 3 weeks. We use it daily everyday. It did okay but it would act like it lost the prime and would run longer than it should while priming itself and building pressure again. I got tired of that happening so I mounted it vertically as the picture shows. I did do some plumbing with the shark bite fittings and added a check valve just in case. We have been using it without a single problem or loosing prime now for a few weeks. It isn’t as loud as the original pump and the accumulator tank helps to reduce cycles of the pump coming on. It is mounted inside our 5th wheel storage cabinet so you hear it but it’s not a big deal. My friend has the same one mounted in his 5th wheel near the under storage area and you can barely hear it run when it’s quiet inside the trailer.At this point I’m happy with the pump and the pressure it delivers because we rely on it daily while living off grid. It’s great for showers and handles the vanity faucet and kitchen faucet with ease. I have turned the kitchen faucet on while my wife was using the shower and didn’t hear any yells or screams due to poor water pressure. If I would have left the pump alone and not tried to improve the plumbing situation, I’m sure I wouldn’t be happy with the pump at all. But RV plumbing isn’t all that good from the factory and can be easily improved by common sense and some know how or a friend that knows what they are doing and can help to improve the situation of RV plumbing. I would recommend this water pump.

Not sure if it’s me or not but I have a ibc 250 gallon water tank with a half inch fitting going to half in hose connecting to the half inch pump inlet and same on outlet side but when I test gpm with a fully charged 12v car battery I only receive about 5 gallons I am using for my 5 gpm pressure washer so that is all I need but for anyone buying this pump just keep that in mind. Other then that the pump works great also nice and quiet

I’ve had half a dozen pumps from the $150-300 range and this is the quietest most effective solution I’ve ever had. More pressure and less noise than double the price.I’m in a large Class A with a built in filtration system and the shower sprays out with force, at least 13’ above this pump.The tank is set up to just work. The whole system is indistinguishable from being connected to a strong external water supply. No pressure changes.
