You will need a rivet gun to secure the vent cover. It is strictly for vent not bathroom or a vent that has fan. Good replacement and fits as it should

I didn’t expect much for the cost, but I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and found good thick covers with even opaque translucency. I did not use the hardware because mine was still perfect, but I was surprised of the quality of the hardware. It was thin but sturdy. Didn’t feel like a soda can that was gonna bend or rip the first time some wind hit it. Every one fit perfect and my install was 6 rivets so it went very fast. I have since had to wind storms of over 50 mph and all three are fine. I did not lift any fury the storms. Im not an R&D facility and have no desire to tempt fate at my expense. But my last covers were only 5 years old and much thinner from new and all 3 blew off this past winter during an 80mph wind storm. These seem like they are better and hopefully will last longer. As of now I highly recommend them. My expectations were exceeded by at least double of what I thought I would receive.
