These plows were easy to use. Just twist to lock. They seem sturdy, the few times we used them with a sun shade they were fine. They won’t stand on their own, they must be staked down. It’s nice that the ball at the top is glow in the dark!

KOMCLUB Telescoping Tent Tarp Pole: Ordered these to help hold up two corners of a shade sail we use with a pop-up. The poles are well-made and easy to extend and retract, just twist. They attached quickly to the corners of the shade sail, then we staked the pole to keep them in place. If used in the center of something such as a tent, it would stand on its own, but if used as a corner, be prepared with rope and stakes to stabilize it. A nice safety feature is the green ball at the top is phosphorescent, so it glows in the dark, making the stake easy to see when wandering around (or if for some reason you drop the ball in the dark! These tent poles are well made, relatively light weight for their strength, and handy to have for camping or backyard activities when you need to prop something up.
