There are many leads for different purposes and some dogs do better with certain leads.I have 3 leads.Cesar Millan slip lead15 ft long leadAnd this Kong leadI have a 4 month old 3lb ChihuahuaThe Kong lead is the one he does the best loose lead walk it's quite an amazing improvement compared to his walking with the other two leads before the Kong leadI'm happy to say the improvement has transferred to the other leadsThe d-ring provides a place to use several caribeaner clips I currently have a water bottle & collapsible bowl, a treat bag, poop bag dispensar, clicker AND the 15ft long lead making it hands free now too.It doesn't interfere with your coat or a backpack or crossbody bagPSABefore you buy measure your waist or where you want the belt to sitthe hands free belt is limited to 40 inches

I liked the two soft padded hand loops to hold at different lengths. Hardware is metal and sturdy. Kong leash lives up to it reputation. Bungee is flexible.
