The compact electronic metronome MA-1 card makes it even more powerful. The MA-2 is an indispensable tool for rhythm training with its reliable functions as a metronom. Metronome settings (tempo, beat, rhythm) and sound out mode settings (calibration, reference sound) will be remembered even when power off. However, if you replace the batteries, the settings will be initialized.
