These are more expensive than the large Kreg jig ones but they are the only ones I could find that fit the jig!

Great system. This was a new driver bit as we purchased more screws and didn't want to have an issue with a worn out bit.

Makes great cuts. A little expensive but you get what you pay for and this was worth it.

Great system, much better than the CAMO system. At least with KREG you can see where the screws are going thru the little window. With CAMO, you screw in blind each time and most of the time it's not where you want it. Also it's a PITA getting the screw back out with CAMO. Kreg really has a winner here.

I was introduced to Kreg tools early 2013, I wish I had known about them years ago. I have purchased the Pocket screw and Deck fixing system along with a number of accessories, I am not disappointed with either of these tools, they are easy to use and produce an excellent concealed fixing method. Well done!Mel.

This hidden fastener system really speeded up the deck installation. Works great with 2 drills! one of the pilot hole and one for the screw. With a friend helping we put down a 10' x 12' deck in less then an hour. This was only my fourth deck built but with the hidden fastener system it looks great.

Overall, this is a good product with a hardened tip that will give you a lot of service. One thing that I had to do though was to remove the set screw that came with the unit and replace it with a like-sized socket head cap screw. I use a 1//4" impact driver for about all of my screw driving needs and the impact will loosen the supplied set screw and the collar will slip. The supplied set screw simply cannot be tightened enough with a small Allen wrench to prevent it from coming loose and allowing the collar to slip causing the screw to be driven too deep and excessive wear on the driver tip.The socket head cap screw, which I think is a 10-32, allows a larger Allen wrench to be used to tighten the collar so it will not slip. I also ground a flat spot on the driver bit which helps hold the collar in place. However, this did not work with the supplied set screw and I still had to go to the socket head cap screw. Also, to give longer life, I would recommend that you sort of ignore the Kreg 'how to' video showing you how to use the Deckdriver driver bit. The video indicates that you may want to drive the screw until the driver bit starts slipping in the head of the screw (you can hear the chattering in the video). This will do nothing but wear the tip of the driver bit out faster. With a 1/4" impact driver you will have immediate control of when to stop driving the bit and if you stop just as the collar touches the depth stop there is no chattering or slipping of the driver bit in the head of the screw. This is much easier for the driver bit and the screw as well. I do not think you can get this control when you use a regular drill motor to drive screws. As a side note, if you are using a regular drill motor to drive screws, you are missing out on the best invention ever made for driving screws - the 1/4" impact driver. Also, the item I got in the original order was the regular #2 square drive bit, and not the special tip (Pozidrive ?) needed for the deck screws. I emailed Kreg and they immediately sent the correct bit and since this was a spare, the delay did not impact my work schedule.

The blister pack indicated that the driver bit was for the Kreg deck screws, but the bit in the package was a #2 square drive (Robertson style) for the regular Kreg Jig fastening system. I called Kreg and Kreg sent a replacement. The bit in the replacement package was also a #2 square drive. I called Kreg, again, and they finally sent the correct driver bit. All three blister packs were identical. I learned that Kreg receives the bits in bulk orders from China, but puts the bits, depth collars and Allen wrenches into blister packs in the USA. That must save shipping costs because the blister packs take up a lot of space.Anyway, I have the bit -- which works fine -- plus two #2 square drive bits that I can use with my other Kreg system. The problem with the order was that it took a couple of weeks to finally get the right part, despite my Amazon Prime account.
