Do not use this in the manner they advertise. Lost on first use as it easily slips out of the loop. Emailed company and finally heard back 28 days later. The response was "Unfortunately the clips on the lights are not designed to put on bags or clothing."Outside of not having this light any longer as it slipped out of the back loop and is lost somewhere in my route - it is a good light. High visibility - easy to use - decent value. Customer service response is POOR at best. Comes with a post or bar mount that seems like it should hold in place well. DO NOT USE THE PROVIDED AND DEMONSTRATED clip mount.

I originally purchased this device for my bike and on my first ride I encountered problems with a defective retaining clip, resulting in the bike light falling off and being run over by a pickup truck. I returned the remains and the company quickly replaced it. The new light works fine and I am a happy customer!!!

Kryptonite has a good reputation in the bike world. Clearly this product wasn't designed by the same designers who develop their other products.To start with, the packaging of this product was insane. I had to tear the packaging apart to get it out, I don't know what they were thinking. The light was in a plastic tray zip tied to a plastic mount that was affixed with super strong double stick tape to the back of the tin. I would expect this sort of security on a cell phone displayed in a retail store, not on a product that was shipped to me.What I like about the light:-Bright light.-The lens allows for some light to be seen from the sides.-Seems to be a well made case.What I don't like:-The only way to mount this to my bike was to clip it to my seat bag. This left the light in a less desirable position where it is pointing down rather than directly at motorists behind me.-Short battery life. I fully charged this before going out on a two hour ride and put it in the slow blink mode. When I got back the light was dead and would not turn back on. I'm not sure when it died but if it can't go two hours without a charge it's not much use to me. My son's light only needs charging every few weeks and he goes on many of the same rides that I do.I have decided to return this product. Hoping Kryptonite improves it.
