Easy-to-read, accurate outdoor thermometer. Have purchased a number of them over the years.

Arrived on time as described. I got this for my camper van but felt like it stuck out too far. Put it on my bedroom slider and had been great! Easy to read and smaller size to not block view.

This thermometer is very accurate and love the large numbers. Best thing about it is that you can put it wherever is convenient yet doesn't obstruct window (but you can't put it in full sun.) No nailing, going outside to read it, etc. Stays stuck on window really well through all kinds of weather. Highly recommend!

It is very easy to read from far away. The numbers and the pointer are very large. We actually use this for our homeschool so ease of seeing and reading the numbers was important to me. As far as the accuracy, I think it is on the right ball park, but if you need pin point accuracy you will probably want to go with a digital. The problem I have found with this is the sticking power. It is like a vinyl cling, absolutley not sticky on it's own and works kind of like a suction cup. We have been using this for a week and it is started peeling off on some edges. It has not yet completely failed off, but just lost some of the grip. It has withstood 120+ degrees in the sun (according to it's own reading) so it is pretty hardy. Hopefully the sticking power will not become an issue, the nice thing about it is that it us very very easy to move and we can move it anywhere we want.

Before I bought this item, I submitted a question through Amazon as to the accuracy of the temperature reading when it was below freezing. The responses mostly were that it would work, so I purchased it. This one does not register anything below about 35 degrees and usually registers only to 40 degrees. It is currently sitting on my kitchen table with an indoor temperature of 70 degrees and it registers as 80 degrees. So either end of the spectrum, it does not register accurate information about the indoor or outdoor temperature.I sent a question back to the seller as to whether or not I could get a replacement that worked, and the only thing I ever heard back was an automated response that someone would get back to me during normal business hours. That was April 8th... Today is May 5th and I still have not heard anything from the seller. I have since tossed the item away as it did not function in warmer weather any better than it did in colder weather.

I love this thermometer. Initially I was not sure about using this method to attach a thermometer. I had used the suction cup style (and after repeatedly velcroing that and regluing with superglue, that one broke after falling). I decided to try this style and it works very well! This arrived and was accurate to within 1-2 degrees. I decided it needed no adjustment. (There is a way to adjust according to other reviews but it didn't look easy). I wanted a smaller style, as it is on a kitchen window in a low corner. It is non obtrusive with the clear style, however, and this is not an issue. It reads high when the sun briefly hits that corner, but is accurate otherwise. I am very happy to finally have a good replacement to get a quick read in the morning. It is well made, the spring parts are covered, and should last a long time.

If all you want is an easy to read, simple to install, no batteries required, accurate enough for wardrobe choice temperature thermometer - this is the ticket!I already had one of these on my north window that is in shade during the first half of the day. I've had it for at least a decade and it looks and works just as well as when I first put it up. I just peel it off once a year to clean the window and stick it back. Couldn't be simpler. The large numbers and pointer make it readable from several feet away inside the house.I found similar static cling models locally at my hardware store and Walmart, but they have garish birds and other graphics on them I do not want. The sun and snowflake graphics on this are hardly noticeable when installed. This temp gauge is almost identical to my old one, although this one does have larger, blue numbers. I would have preferred a smaller, less obtrusive black, but didn't see that offered. I put this gauge on my southern, kitchen window that gets morning sun.My only problem with it is that the center box with all the working parts sticks out about an inch so my sliding window cannot be opened all the way with it on. (I used to have a pricier Taylor digital Indoor/outdoor thermometer there, but the wire got cut.) This is not a deal breaker, it still works to my needs.I would have liked to have found a smaller, overall profile unit for this static thermometer too. Again, I didn't see anything like that and since this brand was a proven winner, and a good price, I bought it.Obviously this is not for those wanting a more precise temperature indicator. Overall, it is perfect for me. Recommended.

What an easy way to know how to dress before heading outdoors by using this handy "window cling" outdoor thermometer. After choosing a north facing window away from any direct sun, I simply cleaned the spot on the outside of the window, made sure to attach the thermometer straight and even, leaving no air bubbles between it and the glass, smoothed it out and went inside. Now, all I have to do is peek out my kitchen/dining area window and can easily see how hot or cold it is outside. This is my second one of these - the first lasting over 6 years in this harsh Minnesota climate. These are also very accurate as long as placed in a north facing window. (Placing them where direct sunlight could hit would cause false readings.) Excellent item, easy to install and nearly invisible, unlike the large, clunky, tacky looking, cheap plastic ones you need to mount somewhere outdoors on the side of a house or on a post.
