I've been using this KVM for a few months with 2 computers (one macbook pro, one gaming pc) and 3 monitors (all LG Dual UP) and have had no issues whatsoever, even when I noticed the KVM power supply had been unplugged at some point.I have now added a 3rd computer (mac mini) and now on both macs, one of the DP monitors will flicker every few seconds (for some reason the mac mini has issues with the left display and the macbook pro the right one). I think I may have maxed out what this KVM can do and will try a different one.

When it work, the screen quality etc is fine. Unfortunately, whenever the computer screens goes to sleep, after a few minutes without using either the mouse or the keyboard, screen # 2 is disconnected from the switch. To get back screen # 2, you have to put the switch to OFF, than put it back to ON, and it will eventually be recognized again. Maybe not a deal breaker, but very annoying... Another problem, this one a MAJOR one, NEVER connect en external hard disk to those USB connectors on the front of the switch. The connection is not stable, and the hard disk will be corrupted ! Trust me, the switch corrupted 2 different hard disks, that I had to later resuscitate from the dead, a time consuming and technical job that left many files hopelessly corrupted. In my opinion, they should clearly state in their product description that those USB ports are NOT to be used with exernal hard disk, Unfortunately for me, the return window closed last week, so I'm stuck with this rather expensive gadget...

It works (kind of), the biggest issue I have with it is that if you use ultra-wide monitors, it has a hard passing the Monitor EDID (Resolution information from the monitor), so every time I switch from one PC to another, I have to plug and unplug the monitor, otherwise it won't recognize the monitor's correct resolution and my image is distorted.

This is a quality KVM switch that comes with a power supply and two usb cables. It has a good weight to it and it feels sturdy with a metal case.I use this mostly for repairing laptop and desktop motherboards. It is really convenient to be able to have this switch set up for testing boards for video output. With just a push of a button I can switch from my computer to the board I am testing. It is also very nice to have a keyboard and mouse instantly set up for any further trouble shooting.I like that this switch includes a wired remote for switching. I am able to just leave the remote on my workbench which makes everything so much easier.I just had to open it up to take a look inside. Everything looked pretty good. The switch has two seperate boards seperated with standoffs. I did not see any quality control issues with the PCB the soldering was very clean. The only issue I was concerned about is the select button that is used for switching on top of the unit. When looking inside the device I noticed the board is not supported well underneath the button. The board will flex some when the button is pressed. I am worried that the PCB may crack from all of this flexing over time. I plan to be very gentle with this button and I hope that it continues to hold up into the future.Overall, I am happy with this KVM switch. The build quality seems good and it works exactly like it is supposed to.

Unstable usb speaker connection. Not all display port cable is supported. Laggy connection for mouse and keyboard even if its just 6inches away from the receiver.

I purchased this KVM as a cheep alternative to connect to the mostly headless server. The server kept shutting down and was able to find out with this switch that the OS got corrupted.

The product is at a fair price point. It took me a few to figure out why the mouse and keyboard wouldn't work but that was user error. Be sure to hook up USB cables. The only criticism I have is something when jumping between computers the mouse and keyboard may lag. I've only had to restart the computer for it to work fine. Overall a great product.

This is a decent setup for controlling 3 computers with three monitors; however, there are some things to be aware of.Pros:1) Displaying 2k @ 180Hz on display port works fine2) Nice option to have all three monitors switching3) 4 USB 3.0 ports is niceNeutral:1) A displayport to HDMI converter wouldn't work for me on the output. The idea is you're using Displayport anyway so this probably isn't a big deal, just something to be aware of.2) After the computer came back from being idle, the monitor displayed some static at 180Hz. Moving to a lower refresh rates fixes this as well as switching back and forth between the computers.3) I haven't used the remote so I can't speak to it.Cons:1) The monitor settings don't persist between windows machines. When switching between computers, the host machine rediscovers the monitors which results in your windows being in different locations periodically. This will probably be a deal-breaker for me.

This KVM switch lets me easily control three monitors across multiple computers. Setup took some figuring out, but now switching between systems is seamless.
