This thing sets up like a tent... varies fiberglass poles bungied together. Thats fine for a tent that will be up for days at a time, but not for a shade Shelter that will only be up for an hour or so.Set up and take down requires too much time and effort for it to be worth it. Get a pop-up shade Shelter. It's much quicker, easier, and provides more shade.I am very disappointed in this product and the lack of ease for setup that when into the designing of this shade canopy

I purchased this along with the Kwik Goal Bench (to which I gave 5 stars) for my grandson's U6 soccer team. The bench is awesome for the team but we haven't used the shade once because it takes too long to put up. With youth sports, games are often back to back so there is limited time once the prior team clears out to move in and put up your stuff. The tent style supports with the elastic strings inside get stuck feeding them through the long channels. It would be much faster to just get a regular EZ up to put the bench under.

While the design itself seems reasonably good the setup is a bit of a pain and I would recommend having two people to get it together (If you want to avoid a migraine.) It is reminiscent of a classic pop up tent. The fabric (unlike the bench itself) is very light and while I suppose that nakes some sense it is already beginning to separate near the stitches (only setup once so far.) The straps don't have the snaps attached and honestly fall off a little too easily. For the price this shade just does not seem worth it, the quality I've come to expect with the brand is just not there. All said if it was possible I would give it 2.5 stars since it does technically do as advertised just not what I expected for ease of use, quality or cost.

The kids love this at soccer games. It meets my needs very well. I have no regrets in buying it.It doesn't earn the 5th star because of slight opportunities missed in making it perfect and easy to set up. The poles are long, and the manufacturing makes the joints slightly loose which makes it hard to push thru the sleeves, which are not continuous. So the poles can come apart. When you're setting up in a hurry, this makes it frustrating at times. This also effects you when you're taking it down afterwards. YMMV

We purchased this cover to be used with our Black Kwik goal team bench.PROS:Looks nice when matched with the black KwikGoal benchCONS:Does not hold up well in 7+mph wind and time consuming to set up and take down (similar to setting up a camping tent) Really only effective if the sun is directly on top of you and really does not provide sufficient cover.

Right out of the package some of the secure straps were fraying but I didn’t think they would be a big deal. Sadly it was just a huge ball of string by the end of the day. When we went to take it down after the 1st use a pole snapped! Such a waste, poor quality.
