If you are a hiker or trekker or plein air artist, this product will change your life. I trek (Camino de Santiago, Alta Via 1, Tour de Mont Blanc) and I also carry my sketching kit. While other hiking sit pads exist and are just as lightweight, this one folds up, which is important for two reasons. First, it's easier to pack, and second, most of the time I use it partially folded. This gives a thicker cushion under my sit bones, which is the only place you need cushioning anyway. I carried one of these 800km across Spain in 2023, and it made 1-2 hour sketching sessions such a pleasure, it was one of my most valued items in my pack. I also take one to life drawing sessions, and it's so much easier to sit on a drawing horse with one of these, that several other artists have ordered them.

Haven't taken them outdoors yet, but they are a bit thin-looking, not as cushioned as I'd hoped. I gave them 3 stars because I like that you get 2 in the package & the gold color is nice.

Took these out to Havasupai for a 4 day 3 night backpacking trip in the winter and it was a solid luxury item to bring! These are super light weight but do take up some physical space. It's about as small as you would want it and folds up so can't really complain there. The campsite had tables there so these weren't absolutely necessary but it did make for warmer spots to sit on during the cold nights adding some comfort for those looking for a bit of coziness in the outdoors.Pros:- lightweight and compact- noticeable comfort added to sittingCons:- still a little "bulky" but I don't think it's possible to reduce it without making it compressible

This item is too thin and flimsy. Does not provide any significant padding or comfort when sitting on hard surfaces.

Just as it describes. Nice foldable pad.Not sure what the other reviewer is talking about the size. It’s the size you would expect.

The picture is misleading. It shows the pad 2 wide. Other than that it's great. Perfect to stay in my pack and use flashing.
