Works great, good price. Just wonder why one was made in Japan and one in the Check Republic. Different boxes too same part number.

Shocks were never replaced on my 06 Aveo, but I’m glad I did so today. Old shocks were blown. Aveo was riding on springs alone basically. Car rides better and is way less bouncy now. Super easy install. Kyb is a good brand

I heard hissing noises when I pumped the shock, but it felt strong and sturdy. Already installed on vehicle. Thanks

I just reused the dust cover that originally came with the car since the dust cover was in great condition. Perfect fit and no problem with the installation. Be careful of some other shocks, where the fit on the upper bushings may not be exactly the same. The KYB shock is excellent. With the KY shocks the car rides like it's brand new.

I recently replaced my OEM springs on my 2007 Chevy Aveo with H&R sport lowering springs. The springs are compatible with OEM shocks but, I wasn't too impressed with the ride! So I replaced the OEM shocks with these struts and its an INCREDIBLE improvement! With the OEM shocks and struts my car would sometimes bottom out and I could tell at highway speeds that my springs were working harder than I felt they should have. With these, that is no longer and issue! If you're thinking about buying the boots to match the new shocks, try reusing the OEM boots first or be prepared to modify the bump stop because the awkward design doesn't completely suit this shock! hope that helps!
