I was really surprised at the the improvement these shocks made on the truck, they have a firm ride when unloaded, but with a trailer or with weight in the additional control is greatly appreciated, making driving easier. They are a great value with just a few dollars over the auto part lifetime warranty shocks, highly recommend the upgrade for truck that gets loaded.

I bought this pair and the fronts as well in the kyb brand for my '93 Cummins Dodge 3/4 ton truck. They work so well! They went in so easily.

The original stock shocks on my truck were shot - 88,000 miles and 18 years thrashed them. Also the originals were not monotube and weren't really designed to last on a big heavy truck. The KYB gas-adjust (which don't actually adjust externally) are a big upgrade. They are stiff, but no more vibration and bounce up and down after taking a slight bump. Also my truck appears to sit about an inch higher in the front now.
