It was broken ! I had to disassemble and repair it. Lucky for the responsible party, I am a retired Maintenance Mechanic and was able to do so !

I wanted a temperature gauge that didn't require batteries. This works great suits what I needed.

These are nothing but junk. They may look cool but both of mine don't even come close to reading the right humidity levels & I even waited over 24 hours. I have compared them to 4 other hygrometers I use & they all read right while these just stay the same reading of around 70% while my others read between 49-55% depending what humidity level I have set on my dehumidifier for my guitar room. I'll be throwing these in the trash. Waste of money!
