Been using these for awhile now and still like them. My kids like to make colored sand designs with these tubes. They layer the sand and throw little "prizes" in for flare. We've also used them to fill with treats as a door prize.

I spent an embarrassingly long time trying to figure out which "test tube" like things I could use to fit in my IKEA RIMFORSA bamboo rack thing. (See photo.) Earlier, I had bought some flat-bottomed tubes for this rack. That was a mistake. The flat bottom is (much) less stable in this situation. I should have thought of that, but live and learn. Now, I do have more than I needed, but the price was not so high as to be a deal breaker. I'll find some use for the other seven!Anyway, just in case there's someone out there searching for tubes that will work with this particular rack or a similar application -- this is the one you want!I really wanted plastic because we have young children in the home, and I didn't like the vision of the glass breaking if they fell. I feel safe with these -- worst-case scenario is wet but no shards of glass!

Bought these to hold servings of drink mixes-spiced cider, hot chocolate, etc. With a little bit of decoration these are perfect! Tops fit well, plastic is sturdy, wash well by hand.

These test tubes are great for storage of small items since the caps screw on easily. If you get a clear test tube holder, it will make seeing the content and storage of these test tubes very simple and easy.

What a lifesaver! My dog has severe environmental allergies and needs weekly injections of her allergen medicine. We were planning to travel for over a week and needed a solution for bringing along one dose of medicine, to keep her comfortable. Instead of bringing the entire glass bottle I wanted to bring just one syringe - but how do you transport a full syringe without risking it being prematurely deployed? The veterinarian had no suggestions. This vile saved the day! It is the perfect length to hold the syringe and, with a severe cap, I don't need to worry about it being accidentally released! 12 pieces is more than I need but I'm sure we will come up with other creative uses (or maybe take a two week vacation some day! haha)

I selected the 60ml size in order to use them to hold one set of polyhedral dice per tube. They work great for this. If your set is standard dimensions (not oversized) it should fit just fine. There are a few cases where you can get one of the dice jammed into the tube if you're not thoughtful. I load the d4 in first to the bottom of the tube, and move up to the d20 at the end. There's enough space for a full set that includes one of each, and also a second d10 and a second d20 with a little room to rattle. These are very solidly built, sturdier than I really require. The plastic is clear and thick. The threads are clean and solid. The cap is a typical metal cap which is perfect.I did a short test with liquid and the cap has a standard shiny paper insert in it that you see on other packaging. It appeared to contain the liquid just fine without leaking. I'd probably double check it if you're planning for some reason to hold liquid in these for the long term just to be safe?Very impressed!!
