Although these are nice pens, they are not calligraphy pens, calligraphers use pens with straight edges, while these are rounded.

I am too happy I found this amazing set. I got it on a sale price and it came from Germany. I love that it comes wit everything you would possibly need! It is a great set and I am loving the package. Happy I came across it and did not hesitate to buy it. It is a little different to get used to compared to the Lamy Safari Pen which is my other favorite!

Me ha gustado mucho este producto; las plumas están bien “calibradas” y el trazo es suave sobre casi cualquier tipo de papel. Denotan calidad y me gusta ese diseño ergonómico que ayuda a que los trazos se desenvuelvan con más fluidez. Recomiendo este producto.

J'utilise de l'encre Pelikan 4001 ( en grande bouteille) plutôt que les cartouches fournies. Ce qui est plus économique.Je suis très satisfait de l'écriture, il n' y a pas de raté ni au démarrage ni au cours de l'écriture. La différence entre les pleins et les déliés et bien nettes, enfin les plumes n'accrochent pas.Le coté stylo plume offre un confort d’utilisation indéniable par rapport à une plume de calligraphie classique qu'il faut tremper dans un encrier régulièrement.La qualité de fabrication semble bonne, c'est du Lamy.Les 3 tailles de plumes sont bien pratiques, dommage qu'il n'y ait qu'un corps de stylo.Notez que si les plumes se vissent correctement sur des modèles Lamy Safari, le capuchon est différent et un capuchon Safari ne ferme pas correctement sur ce modèle Joy. de petits capuchons de plume sont fournis dans ce lot.

A lightweight fountain pen. The smallest nib is fabulous for sketching. I did buy a converter as well so I could use waterproof fountain pen ink to be able to add watercolour to my sketches.

This is the perfect pen for calligraphy on the go. The nib is sharp and creates crisp letters with a perfect thick/thin ratio. It also has a very professional, attractive appearance. I love it!!

I think I already wrote a review, but this is a terrific set, not flimsy like so many others. If calligraphy is part of your art, than this is a reasonably priced well made set. The Lamy name means something!
