Use a Philips screwdriver to unscrew 6 screws of belt guard, take out the rollers and the old belt, install the new belt in place, push and slide rollers into the unit. After installing the belt, please note rotate rollers manually to make sure the belt is not twisted or pinched.

Did the trick. They certainly don't make it easy to get to this in the wet vacuum but once it's in it worked like a charm.

Belts broke in the first round of cleaning, The belt is rigid and brittle so it breaks after a few spin. I have a 4’x6’ rug and the belt breaks even before I could clean that small rug.This is not cheap as most of the belts available on Amazon are of similar prices.

After buying my carpet shampoo machine the belt broke within months. It was a bit difficult to install the new belts but with help it wasn't complicated. The machine is now like brand new out of the box and works perfectly.

This package came with two belts. The first one immediately started smoking and instantly split. I don’t have high hopes for the second one. Save your money.

My Hoover steam cleaner arrived with a broken belt. Rather than return the whole machine, I contacted Hoover for a new belt. They were no help at all. Just told me that it wasn't covered under warranty, So I contacted Amazon. The option was to return it or to get a partial refund for the belt. I chose the latter and ordered this belt despite the previous review. It fits but it very difficult to install. However, despite that I'll be 72 on my next birthday and have arthritis in my hands, I was able to install it. Perhaps the previous reviewer was sent the wrong belt.
