I ordered this to keep the birds and squirrels from eating all my cherries. Works great! It was much easier to set up than I thought it would be. The zipper allows for easy access to pick the fruit on a daily basis.

We will be using this to protect a peach tree but for now I'm using it to stop birds from picking seeds from some planters. The material is good and sturdy while also being water permeable (which is essential in its present use). It was easy to attach, the zipper is good and solid. A few weeks before installing this I'd planted some lettuce seeds and within a day, birds had dug up the seeds; so far, no birds have gotten through the netting--since it's not designed for these kinds of planters, I did use some rope to corral it around the planters and it works well. Overall, really happy with it, it's done what it's supposed to, glad we got it.

I got this to protect my pomegranate tree. Every year it produces fruit and every year the birds and the squirrels get it all. It's good against birds, but squirrels, or as I call them "tree rats" are another story. For that I'll have to put a barrier on the trunk. The mesh is very fine so it will keep bugs out as well, and it doesn't seem to harm the tree at all. Light passes through and it is able to breathe without obstruction. It's a good size at 12 feet in diameter when opened so it will fit a pretty good sized tree. It is well made too, and at a competitive price for the size (around $40 at the time of this review) but not a great value.

Though I won’t actually be using this tree protector until later this summer to keep one of my peach trees safe from the squirrels and birds, I have inspected this, and I am impressed. The netting is thin but durable - much more so than some other tree covers I have, and the large, easy to grab zipper works smoothly and easily. The drawstring at the bottom, which is used to cinch the bottom closed is sufficient, though I wish it were a bit thicker and therefore more durable, but it’s fine. If this tree cover last me at least a few seasons, it will be worth the cost and probably deserving of five stars.I hope this review is helpful to you and other fellow gardeners.
