If you're a climber or rescue worker looking for a solid carabiner, this one's a great choice. It's super durable with a zinc-plated finish, perfect for harsh outdoor conditions. The large D shape and twist lock make it ideal for complex tasks, but it's a bit heavy, and the lock can be stiff, especially with gloves. Performance-wise, it's top-notch, handling strain well. It's certified and all, so this is a legit carabiner you can use for climbing.

NFPA class G, MBS 60kN. Looks exactly as in the product photos - including the black finish not being particularly fancy, but I’m going to scuff that up soon enough. Note that it weighs over 11 ounces so it feels just as solid as it looks.

These large scale carabeaners are absolutely a game changer. I use them for hanging things in my garage all the way to actually using them for climbing they’re very sturdy. The hinges were great and the wake capacity is absolutely perfect. The finish is nice and smooth and the rope glides through them effectively. The larger size makes them easy to work with as long as you have the space they lock out well but are not locking. The finish is nice and will absolutely last.

Use this for my arborist job, and it’s been solid so far. The twist lock is smooth but secure, and it’s easy to operate even with gloves on. No sticking or weird resistance like some cheaper ones.It’s got a good weight to it—feels sturdy without being overly bulky. I’ve used it for rigging and climbing, and it hasn’t let me down. The black finish is a nice touch, too. If you need a reliable carabiner for serious work, this one holds up.
