I really liked this. This is my first laser distance measurement device (other than a rangefinder) and it works great. The green laser is very visible indoors and outdoors and having the levels ensures that I get an accurate distance measurement. I am sure this is the case for most devices of this type, but the readout is in decimal (xxx.xxx). It would be nice if it could also display fractions. It also does additive measurements, area, and volume measurements. Nice little device to have in the toolkit, especially for those distances when you are trying to measure something solo and the metal tape doesn't stay straight over the distance.

Conditionné dans une boite 100% carton et petit sachet en plastique. Notice et instructions de sécurité en 6 et 9 langues dont le Français.En tant que dessinateur en architecture, le télémètre est un outils que j'utilise très régulièrement. Il arrive parfois qu'une face ne soit pas très accessible, ou la hauteur d'un mur sans débord difficile à prendre. Pythagore règle ce problème et c'est vraiment génial. Fort possible, si Amazon me laisse le garder, qu'il remplace mon Bosch PLR30C.On regrettera le manque de protection antichoc, l'ensemble du boitier étant en plastique dur. Mais bon... pas de raison qu'il tombe, il a une dragonne...Pour conclure, un télémètre très efficace et polyvalent, avec des fonctionnalités qu'ils n'ont pas tous et à un tarif très abordable (35,99€ aujourd'hui), je recommande sans soucis ni réserve.

It Does cover safety precautions.It covers all the measurement modes (with steps AND with pictures): It’s easy to change modes.- single distance- continuous min/max measure- Area- Volume- Pythagoras (2 points)- Double Pythagoras (3 points)It has these measure unit options: Inches, feet & Inches (decimal), meters, Feet & Fraction.(it’s easy to see which is which if you make a measure, and I can then hold the Unit button down till it switches to next unit to compare etc.. (fractions, decimals, etc easy to tell how it shows since the measure stays on the screen as you switch between them.)It turns ALL off if not used for 3 minutes.If Laser was turned on, it turns it back off after 30 seconds if no button was pressed.It beeps on button presses, and when it turns off, etc.. That beep CAN be muted.NOTE: IF you need any contact info, it was only located on the box it comes in. I did not find any in the manual.(See picture of the box back.)3. It’s small: only 1-15/16” wide, 4.5” long, 1-1/8” thick. Narrow may be easier for smaller hands. My larger X-large size gloves hands held it comfortably though. It has a wrist strap that I was just barely able to slide on while squishing my thumb into my palm to make it narrow enough. It can prevent it from accidentally falling, especially when up higher.4. It included two fully charged AA Alkaline batteries. (The ad says AAA, Wrong)It DOES show battery status on the screen (4 bars).Personally, I prefer FAST replaceable batteries vs an internal rechargeable battery that can’t be popped out for a freshly charged one instantly when it’s needed.(I didn’t test yet to see if NiMH rechargeable batteries (1.2V) have high enough voltage to power this long enough.)5. It includes a pouch bag to store this in. The GREAT thing is that the useful manual is sized to ALSO fit into that small pouch! It shows fore thought in the design. A good sign.-----------------I tested it indoors, no issues at all.I tested it OUTDOORS in morning of a heavy overcast day.I could not really see the green dot on something about 300 feet away.I then placed a 3 foot x 4 foot white stiff plastic sheet at the spot I wanted to measure distance at.I was able to see the green dot on that plastic. I was holding the laser free hand, it gave me 3 errors, but one measurement showed 318 feet. (mounting on a solid tripod will work better)Very Impressive, since it states: “229ft Range”It would also do better at night, since the green dot will be more visible.I’ve ordered a GREEN laser target to brighten the laser dot if I can hit it. (target is so small)(The white plastic board helps and may let me see it enough to further position it onto a tiny green laser target if I’m mounting it on an adjustable tripod.)I need to set up a test and double check with a long measure tape to verify accuracy at that distance.This is performing FAR better outdoors then my old Red laser one.---------------------------------------DISLIKE:It doesn’t have a 1/4-20 threaded insert for a tripod screw mount.I was going to use a clamp type phone holder mount, but I discovered that they don’t go narrow enough (2”) to hold this.So, Instead I cut a small piece of galvanized steel sheet metal (2” x 1-5/16”) ~the same size as the BATTERY DOOR.I smoothed edge burrs with a file, cleaned it, and glued it to the door.(See picture: I didn’t cover the battery door release clip, nor the serial number with the sheet metal.)`I then screwed a phone mag-mount type holder onto a tripod.Placing this laser with this sheet-metal back onto that magnet holds this VERY well!I’m careful removing it since the weak spot is the plastic clip holding the battery door on. I tilt the laser body sideways, (not front to back nor lift straight up). It comes off easier that way and reduces any stress on the door clip.I can ALSO now also simply place a magnet on that sheet metal and then fasten this laser to any ferrous metal surface.---------------------------------------

Incluso permite elegir si quieres que tome la medida desde la parte de atrás o de la de delante del aparato.Lleva dos pequeños niveles de burbuja para los dos ejes, lo que te puede ayudar en algunos casos para tomar las medidas con el aparato bien alineado.De autonomía está muy bien, con la ventaja añadida de que, en lugar de montar una batería, funciona con dos pilas AA, por lo que puedes utilizar recargables sin problema, y sobre todo, cuando se agoten, las cambias por otra, ya que los aparatos con batería interna, al final hay que tirarlos por la batería, cuando el aparato seguiría funcionando.Aunque es un láser normalito, de los económicos, funciona bien, he comprobado las medidas y tiene mucha exactitud, así que perfecto.También lleva una funda muy práctica, eso lo echaba de menos en el otro, que al fina siempre se acaban rozando, se caen, etc., y no te los puedes colgar del cinturón. Esta funda tampoco es la panacea, ya que tampoco te permite colgártela del cinturón, y al ser sólo de tela, pues no protege de golpes, pero sí de rozaduras.¡Un saludo!

I am not a professional who uses measuring tapes all day long; however, I saw my contractor using one of these digital measuring device and was impressive how fast he could the measurements. No more worrying about the sharp edges of the measuring tape that may cut my fingers. No need to have someone holding the other end of the measuring tape. No more trouble measuring the hard to reach area. I am very impressed with this product.The device is lighter than all the measuring tapes I owned. It is smaller than my palm, making it easy to carry around. The device needs 2 AA batteries to operate, and 2 were provided by the manufacturer. The display screen is bright enough to show the values clearly, and the laser beam is sharp. As shown in the instruction booklet, this small device provides many measuring options. It is a bit overwhelming initially when I saw the operation manual; however, I must say the instructions are clear and easy to understand.Other than providing a point-to-point measurement, it also have the options for continuing measurement, 2 and 3 dimensions measurement, as well as add-and-subtract from the previous measurement. It holds up to 100 measurements in the memory and the readings can be converted between meters, inches, and feet. Truly amazing. The only complaint I have is the spirit levels. They are too dark and small for me to see the bubbles. My husband doesn't think it is an issue for him. Therefore, I think the device still deserves a 5-star.

I really like this measuring instrument a lot. It has lots of features and it has consistently worked very well. It’s rated at up to 100meters. At that distance in bright sunlight it may not be the best, but it could work and that’s impressive for the class.Some random positives: By changing the units, my readout is feet+inches+1/16ths! Very handy for practical use. It defaults to measuring from the rear plane, but is easily switched to the front. After using a few times, I found that I could measure wall to wall or floor to ceiling perfectly, and with little extra effort at the default setting. With another button, do either rectangular area measurements or add a third side for volume — quick and easy. It holds the last 100 measurements in memory, even after restarting. Did I mention the super bright green laser?Negatives: none, really. I could just ask for…would be great if it had an IP rating for water (rain) resistance. Add another level of complexity (and price, already low) and have optional app and Bluetooth tethering to save and label results. Last: it has a way to turn off the annoying beeper, for the current session. It beeps when you turn the beeper off. And it resets to on after a restart…I wish it retained the beep on/off setting until manually changed: that’s a small thing compared to the capabilities and versatility of this tool. I hope to use it for a long time!
