Ignore the “laser” in the title. This is a fast-heating soldering gun with an oddly charming identity crisis. Made of cheap plastic, it heats in 3 seconds, is light enough to wield one-handed, and is surprisingly capable for small electronics or DIY fixes.I'm an occasional solderer (fixing rabbit-eaten solar spotlight cables), and this is quite an improvement over my primitive setup. But the marketers are going overboard by using the words "welding" and "laser" with this product. Its box says "Solder Gun" on it, so let's keep things real here.It includes everything I'll need to get some serious soldering done, including tweezers, desoldering tools, solder and attitude. And the instructions? Written on the back of the box and almost illegible, these inexplicable directions just give you a hint at how to use this set. I would think that with such a dangerous item, the ways to avoid injury would be better thought out.But for those more attuned to this whole soldering/welding(?) business, this is a solid bench buddy for hobbyists and solder-curious tinkerers alike. For me? The rabbits will keep munching, so now I have a new gun that includes everything I need to fight my ongoing battles with them.

Advertisement is misleading. Hope no one actually expects to get a laser welder this cheap. Thought it might be a good soldering gun but, it’s very cheaply made, expected it to catch on fire and the alignment for the solder to pen sucks. May as well use it without the feeder. Overall, waste of money!

I only gave this a 1, because there was no lower choice. This is a piece of garbage. It did not even get warm. It came with no. Instructions. I just threw it in the trash and will send it to the dumps in the morning. Serves me right for trusting the Chinese

This is just a soldering gun? It’s not a welder is not a laser machine. It is not at all. It is a soldering, but it is advertised as a laser machine, lie.
