When I ordered this LP 12" cajon snare the company selling it through Amazon advertised it as made in USA . When I got it I discovered it was made in Thialand . It is a piece of junk . It sounds terrible and is constructed with cheaper thinner materials . I had one before that was made in USA and it was awesome. If I had known this company was going to pull a bait and switch I would have never ordered it. Buyer beware and shame on the company PlayMusic 123.

Sounds great (after I got rid of the snare).The Octagonal version would be better since it' would be much easier for holding as a hand drum.The downside is it's priced so high ($129 for the 12 inch :-)
