The size and appearance are well-represented in the photos - an egg-like light purple pillow. Pillow is, perhaps, a misnomer. It is not soft. It does not really squish or conform. It is heavy (as a weighted item should be!) and solid. I wish it did conform a bit more. The fabric is very soft, and I love that it can be removed for washing. The scent, even without the thoughtfully added extra lavender flowers, is very strong.

This little lavender nugget smells incredible. It has a nice weight from the glass beads that is evenly distributed throughout. The fabric is soft and it is very comfortable to hold. I love that it came with a packet of lavender so that we can intensify the aroma. I did have a hard time locating the inner pocket for the extra lavender. I expected it to be around the zipper. However, it is on the opposite side. This would be five stars if the zipper was easier to use. I have not been able to get the zipper to zip closed after opening it to locate the hidden pocket. I overall, though I am pleased. It is exactly as described and smells so good! I think it will be great on those nights when sleep invades me as it will go perfectly with my favorite yoga nidra podcast!

I have a daughter who always looks for something to hold to her stomach area. Often a purse or something like that. This weighted pillow fills that desire so well! And the lavender smell is lovely. It comes with additional lavender in a plastic bag, and we haven’t used any of that. The weight and size makes this a great comfort object.

This is the perfect companion for someone that needs to hug onto something while laying in bed or watching TV. The scent is subtle and just adds to the overall experience. It is quite heavy and very durable. The material is soft and fuzzy. It's a bit on the smaller size but perfect for what purpose it has. I am also using it during my yoga practice in place of the lumbar pillow. It is well worth the money!

It's a ball that has lavender/flax seed in it. It's definitely weighted, but I can't get it to sit on my stomach. I can hold it and it smells like lavender. I didn't personally get any of the affects like I do when I use my weighted blanket, but I like the smell. This has been the most wonderful addition to the office space. We're all therapists and we needed some kind of grounding tool that was for us and not for our clients. It is heavy, so when you're holding it you feel regulated. It is so comfortable and the size is really appropriate as well. I think it is really good quality as well. The only thing that kind of worries and confuses me a bit, is how you're supposed to put the lavender in the pillow? Do you just put the whole plastic bag in? Do you only put the little pellets in and then really struggle to get them out if needed? The pillow itself smells like lavender and I would've been happy with maybe a spray instead? Just because I don't want to use the pellets in there cause it gives me a messy feeling. How I've been using it now is basically just opening the bag of lavender and taking a whiff when I need some relaxation. The pillow I use for the weight ability. I hope that all makes sense - overall I do recommend this product !!!

I measured this pillow to be 9.5" long x 5.5" tall x 5.5" deep, so a little smaller in profile than posted on the listing. While my body says that I would ideally like for this to be at least twice the size and weight that it is, I am still deriving a very noticeable calming and centering benefit from using this as is. First, the aroma therapy is next level. This comes with a sizeable pack of natural dried, real lavender in a ziploc bag that you can disperse wherever and however you please, so the infusion is the real deal and not synthetic. I chose to put the entire bag inside the pillowcase. Second, while I want to hold this like I am hugging it, that position doesn't quite allow me to relax as much as I'd like to. I sit with my hands grasped together in my lap and let this rest on my forearms while breathing in the scent. It really helps me feel centered and regain focus. I also LOVE this as a neck rest when working from my lap desk while seated on my favorite couch. I feel I can be more creative when I am relaxed while working.

On first impression, the pillow was smaller and firmer than I anticipated. I have yoga bolsters from Brentwood Homes that contain buckwheat and I was thinking this pillow would be similar - more malleable. However, it's a lot smaller and firmer. At first I wasn't sure I'd like that. But upon using it, I realized I do like the firmness and size. I've been using it mostly when I sleep. I'm a side sleeper and I've found the size and firmness to be perfect to support my shoulder without taking too much space on the bed. I hug the pillow to my chest, and lay my upper arm on it or hug it. It's been great and now I don't know if I can sleep without it. The pillow cover is a soft plush material, and the lavender scent is a bonus.
