We have tried a few different ways to hold/build jigsaw puzzles. One of the more recent storage ideas we tried was an inflatable board that rolls up. Well, this may work for some puzzles. It cannot handle all the loose pieces very well, and the puzzle pieces can get damaged, especially in the center of the roll where the turns are the tightest. That said, when deflated, that form of storage is pretty easy to stash anywhere. It is rather difficult to use that inflatable to actually build the jigsaw as it is not perfectly flat.This storage case/building platform is very flat and much easier to move pieces about. The storage drawers give you a place to put all the loose pieces that you have started to sort and the arm mechanism in the back allows you to pitch up the board more easily work on it. This board is a little heavier than our other solution, but organizing in this piece is much better, and tends to store the jigsaw puzzle in a better condition than the inflatable role. My one real issue with the board is that there is no simple way to fasten the board closed. I thought the loops on the individual drawers might be a great way to do that, but there really is nothing provided to help with that and those drawers can pull out and cause damage.Just a nice large elastic band would be a nice thing to include to help ensure that the board does not flip open and pieces don’t fall out. Overall, though, this does seem to be the best solution I've found to work on a puzzle and then be able to put it away for a while, until you next want to work on it. The price on this is probably 2 to 3 times the simple inflatable roll up storage is, but I do believe the additional organization area and the flat surface that does not tend to grab the jigsaw pieces makes the premium worth it. If I do discover any issues with premature aging, I will certainly update my review. For now, I do certainly recommend this product to the jigsaw fans.

I like how well it's made but there no cover that fits, over the board to keep your puzzle from going to pieces, when opening after removing it from the table.
